  2. We don't camp any more, so I give all my scrap wood ( too small to make anything with) to my neighbor who has a weekly camp fire in his back yard for his kids and grandkids he dond't care how small they are they all burn. so;me times he gets a lot and some times he don't get much. IKE

  6. I went to my lumber a=yard to get some BB ply and they were out so Idd3ecded to look around. they had a staack of 8 ft popular marked down to $275 pr board ft. Well wlhat can I get it for he said tat there was a little over 50 BF.and I could have it for $125 I agreed tp that and bought 8 ft of 6" soft maple for $37 I knew I had a good deal and I figured it out @ 53 board ft . They were of random with 3<5 the smallest and 12" the largest, any way I got the 53BF for $2.35 a BF at regulaar price they would have been $165.00 IKE

  8. When my salvage gets too small to use I donate them to a neighbor who useing them in there fire pit . They rost weiners and make somores every saturday night when the weather permitts. IKE

  10. Ir could be that the motor armiture is cloged with the carbon from thje brushes. Remove the brushes and take an air hose and blow the motor out. The proper way is to take the motor apart and clean it. if you not carful you could rulen the motor. I , I worked with could do it because I worked with motor for 25 yeara. IKE

I went back to my dollar tree and found what you were talking about, they look like they are bass wood, not very big I could get 3 or 4 decoration out of some of them. but I can buy 1/8 BB plly at less than $1 per sq foot, so it's not a very good deal for me, for some body else they would be a good deal. That is if the price has not risen like other wood at the big box stores. IKE

  13. I have a plung router for about 5 years . It works great where you can't reaach with a rill press. IKE
  14. It's an entry level saw Buy it and use it for a while, buddy an upgrade and re sell it for $45 and you only lost $5 on it. IKE

  16. I used the pegas blades several years ago and I had a problem with breakage and short life. So I went back to Olson's match bladesThey very seldom break and last longer than any other blade the olson last for about 40 minuts I have had some that lasteed a little over an hour . I cut mostly at about 75% speed. I useallly go thru a gross of #5 in a year. I cut every day for 4 or 5 hours between March and november. I could not do that with a pegas blade. I never go by the way the blade is design I just go by the amount of blades I go thru in a days time. IKE
  17. I use popular mostly 3/4 for puzzles It cuts nice and I don't use pine unless I get it for free then I am caareful what patterns I use . No fretwork. I would rather cut walnut. IKE
  18. I just bought 1/8 Bass wood havent cudt or tried to stain it yet I got them *"X12" for $12. If they don't take stain try useing a damp cloth with Mineral spirets I always use it on baltic berch and thy take stains a lot better that way, IKE
