    I have 3 scrollsaws and when my Grandson comes over I will have 2. I have 2 routers 3 orbital sanders and many other sanders, some are old enough to vote blut still do there job. IKE

    My neighbor wanted to make a gutar so I made a fixtlure of the bends on the guttar He soaked it for 4 days then put it on the fixdture and let it dry for a little over a weeek and it worked out fine. He used 1/8 BBplywood you have to have duse dthe ply crosss grained . this was 4 in. wide ply then the glue would hold . we wanted 1/16 jBBply bit cpuldn't find any around here. IKE

    the last part of june 2020 my Delta Scroll saw started to vibrate in a fuew minutes it was shakeing. I called delta and they gave me an address where to take it ( 57 miles from my home was the closest) Itook it on July 2 2020 I called the drepair center 4 ddtimes and they were waiting for prts I called Delta, They were waiting on parts and I might as well go buy a new saw. I called them a total of 3 times. on 12- 21 the repair place called that they just got the last of the parts and I could come up on the 22 and get it, That is 5 month and 17 days for repair. It wasn't the repair shop it was DELTA . I did budy a new saw and it wasn't a DELTA So if you are in the market for a new saw I will not recomend DELTA. IKE

    Have you triedit ? does it run? The bearings are sealed being old they might be dry. drun it and see. IKE

    iF NONE OF THE ABOVE SUGESTIONS WORK i WOULD GET A pEGAS BLADE HOLDER SYSTEM THE ALUMINUM IS HARDER AND HOLDS REAAL GOOD . i HAVE AUTHORITUS IN MY FINGERS AND i HAD TO USE A sTEVE gOOD TOOL TO TIGHTEN THE SCREW WITH THE PEGAS I DON'T . ike PS EXCCUSE THE SPELLING MINE IS THE WORSE.

    If it needs repair be careful about sending it out to be fixed mine has been in the shop for 6 months Delta is slow about sending parts, they tink you should buy a new one. I had a delwalt 7988 and it was out for repairs not warentee but they had it for 30 days so I called dewalt and they sent em out a repairman and I got in 4 days free of charge that's makes the dewalt a much beter saw

    I have a drill press that will take any size drill bit, but I do have pin holders one for the drill press and one is a hand held drill vice I use it to clear out the holes so my blade will enter with out any interfearance. I am a bottom feeder and this works out fine. IKE

    you could ccut them from 1/8 material and use 1/8 backer. it all depends upon tlhe trim that they sit on. ike

    When I make for my relivities I useally charge the cost of material,or give it to them. for a neighbor I useally sell at 1/2 my retail price., or give it to them. IKE
