  2. There once was a wood store in Milford . It close down. they had a Proxxon the owner said that he cut a piece of popular 1/2 thick, but from what I saw it didn't have the power but he said that it would. It was quiet and vibration free and you I put a nickle on it and it stayed there while it was running. if I made only Christmas decorations I would lie to have one. IKE

  8. I bought a type 1 last fall at a garage sale from a person i know for $150. it is a good saw and was taken care of. $350 is too much for a used saw at that age. IKE
  9. I believe that the RBI has an AC motor. . I worked for a motor company for 27 years and if someone hooked up a restate to one of our motors the warren was void. most machines with AC motors used a venerable spreed pulley. We did make venerable speed DC motors.. IKE

  14. some time ago someone ask about dying wood. I used Rit clothing dye an 42 circle ornaments They were made from popular wood. it didn't take but a short time for the dye to sink in. I also tried it on pine , it took longer and the hard parts of the wood didn't do very good. but they were salable. IKE

I just finished 2 projects using Elmer s mu;lti purpose spray Adhesive which allows repositioning . the first one I used a light application of glue I had a couple places which it rose on me, but this were no problem. the second project I applied a little more glue , had no pattern rising but unlike the first project I had to apply mineral spirits to remove the pattern. I will keep using this spray. IKE
  16. I would not have notice dd if it wasn't pointed out to me leave it alone IKE
  17. I tried blue tape and on fretwork it is a pain to work with, it takes for ever to remove it. so I bought a can of Elmer's spray glue and I applied a pattern and will try it tomorrow and let you know how it comes out. IKE
  18. I use Olson's. They seem to work best for me I have tried Flying Dutchman's aand most others Flying Dutchman's seem a little aggressive for me.At the age of 77 i am not as study with my hands as I once was and Olson s suit me better than all the rest. IKE
