  1. Went to a garage sale yesterday and bought a Dremel variable speed , dremel attachments and a dremel router table ( attaches to yuour work bench. for a total of $5.00 even if the router table isn't any good it's still a good deal. IKE My computer is playing games with me .

  8. when I cut a puzzle i use an Olson's # 3 r and they fit good. be sure not to put any pressure on the sides. and a medium speed with a slow feed. IKE

  10. I stack 3 or 4 1/4 pieces or plywood and use no lube . I make 15X12 Christmas trees with a nativity scene in the middle and using Olson's blades I usually use 1 or 2 blades I set my speed on a dw 788 saw at # 5 speed. in fact I very seldom exceed that speed each tree has 35 holde in them. To me speed is the digest cause of blade failure.IKE

  12. I use a 10 in. drill press but at times it won't reach some holes then I use a dremel plunge router. IKE
  13. I have done some cutting of vinyl I put painters tape on the record then the pattern I run at a 4 or 5 on my dw788 the tape helps with the melting back together using a #3 blade.. I just haven't found any thing I wanted to cut yet.

  18. I posted a while back that I was going to try Elmer's preposition spray glue if you are going to cut it today or you don't get finished it isn't too great. The second day the pattern came up as I was cutting. Elmer's stick glue saved the day. I now have Krylon . spray glue I know it will hold.IKE

    painters tape

    I spray to the pattern and remove with paint thinner, then clean the wood with the thine rand let dry, if there is any residue left I use the thinner on it again. No problem with sanding. IKE

  24. I use 600 grit emery paper on lacquer, works fine., I bought it at a garage sale a couple years ago about 400 sheets of 600 & 400grit paper. IKE
  25. I use Olson's I seem to get a smother cut and they last longer. I do most of my cutting at a 5 on my SW 788. IKE
