  1. Yesterday I had a problem of the blade sleeping out of the top clamp.I tried all the remedies, sanding blade cleaning the blade end with no luck. i slowed down the speed and watched the blade, it just slid out of the clamp sideways. I went to my back up saw , also a Dewalt and traded the clamping screw and it worked fine, I have about 3000 hours on the saw tomarrow I go to the repair shop and buy a new clamp knob at a cost of $10 IKE

  17. Kevin take it easy. I scroll saw no more than 4 Days a week and thats only 5 hours at a time. and when I mess it up I just throw it away and start over. Are these paying orders or are they for free free. I had an order for a wedding cake topper ($25) I didn't take an down-payment. I showed them what I would make but they kept adding to it. I had 2 completed and they wanted it a little different, So I just told them that i would not make it and they finally said that they would take what I had done but I told Thames that I had distressed the others go and find it someplace-else i have now quit taking orders. There is less stress in it..

  23. With any type blade you can have this problem. after doing all the cleaning it helps I use Anti-Seize. I but it at a hardware store.I first started sueing it in the machine shop to keep the cutting inserts in. It works on a scroll-saw also. A tube cost about $5.00, and will last a life time.
