  2. I finished these up yesterday they came out pretty good. the first is a doll cradle for a 7" doll and the second is a Fruit Basket
  3. I bought a magnifying light and now I don't wear my glasses when sawing so any good dust mask will work . The light was only $39 It is one of the best additional tools I own,
  4. If you have a menards in your area they hae olson's blade at about $3.00 per dozen pack. You proobably pain close to $6 for a pack at Lowes and got junk.
  5. You do awesome work., even with the interruptions. I didn't get anything done today. My wife's church group gives funeral lunches for people in the area . and that takes the biggest part of the day, The husband's help . we started a about 10;00 am and finished at 3:00 pm went down to my brother in laws and planed down 3 more boards and that took the rest of the day. If I was just as awesome as you i could have got some sawing done.

  7. Even with my Van it would be only $17 worth gas. I would go look at it and make a choice on what you see. A Delta is a good machine.
  8. I use a mask i bought at Home Depot it is designed for fiber glass and Asbestos tHE COST t was ABOUT $30, IT WORKS GOOD WITH GLASSES.
  9. I use a staple gun for stack 3-4 pieces. I use 3/8 staples . Staple board 1 to board 2 and board 3 po board 2 ect.Just staple where the blade dowsn't cu into a staple.. holds good.
  10. you might try anti sieze on the blade tightening screws. A tube is about $5 and will last you 15 years.
  11. If they did carry the blades they would be like the ones at Lowes. NOT VERY GOOD
  12. I have used it with enamel in the industries for fast drying , the paint dries fast and can be used in a few hours. never tried it with scrolling

    nice board. i use to play but haven't in the last 50 years. when in the Navy when at sea we played a lot of cribbage and acey ducy

  15. That will sell you need to make one from each branch.
  16. What a help it is to have a magnifying light on your saw , and i you get outside the line it helps if you have a set of files of different shapes to smooth out the humps and nobody will notices the difference.

  20. home depot has underlayment plywood for about $13 for a 48 sheet. I have used it for several projects and it works fine if you are going to paint, or just use it to proctice on.

  22. Welcome from Ohio. This is a real good village the best I have ever seen. plenty of patterns, and advice. just make sawdust and enjoy yourself,

The size of the blade depends on the type of wood I use olson's blades and on 3/4 I usually use a #7 but on extra hard woods I use a #9 crown blade, they are a little more aggressive but you have to take it a little easier. But as Dick says all scroll saws cut on an angle but after a while you never notice it.,
