I just looked at my back up saw. i waxed it last Nov. with Johnson wax and It is still as fresh as it was when I waxed it No rust I had a saw blade it it and it has not rusted no wax on it but I have had blades rust over the winter . I use Olson's.Blades.
I used vermont blades years ago ( 10 years )and they were a decent blade at that time, I now get most of my blades from the wooden teddy bear good price and good service
This afternoon i went to Paxton Woods and bought 17.5 board foot of Popular wood for 32.45 including tax. may bee that will last till my drying wood get dry enough to plain down, at least it will keep me out of trouble for a while.

Love that dog. I had a shi-tzu. She was adorable, My grand Kids pulled ther tail and ears and she just loved them. if they got too rough she would just yep and go off to her favorite hiding place.
I don't know anything about the mounting of a scroll saw on the shop smith . but that's where I would start you might try a little ruber between the saw and the shop smith.It really cuts down on vibration on other saws.
I have a Ryobi drill press It holds any size drill It was only about $100, on some patterns it won't reach all the holes and I have a Dremel plunge router for that and it works well
The quality of the ply wood at home Depot is really bad. lowes is a little better( It is acceptable) I am looking maybee your answeer will help me also.
