  2. OOOOOOH, I like that Fay, a beautiful job. As Kevin says you've just got to touch them. It's a lovely color too. Well done Fay. Rob Roy.
  3. Hi Matt I would say glue first. You could try taping on a piece of scrap but my worry would be the oil creeping under the tape. Hope this helps Matt. Rob Roy.
  4. Amazing Kevin, what a superb job you did on that Chevy. Would have liked one like that at the Classic Car show. Lots of patience in those cuts. Rob Roy.

  7. Hi Roly, what a nice show of work, not that I'm any kind of expert, but I agree with some of the suggestions. Particularly in the display ideas. Spread it out and spread it up. It's beautiful work you produce, so let the customers see it. Just my opinion Roly. At least you enjoyed the day and learned something from it and it wasn't a total loss. Good on you for trying. . Rob Roy.
  8. A very nice job Dan, that will keep the kids occupied for hours. Much nicer than the plastic c**p and it will last a whole lot longer. Rob Roy.
  9. Two nice pieces Dan. Patterns are good too. Superb. Rob Roy.
  10. As usual Marg. A superb job, Marg 2 is a JC fan and she likes it very much. She says it looks like a black and white photograph. Oops, not quite P C should have said Grey Scale. . Rob Roy.
  11. Maybe this might help Larry. Jatoba comes in at 56 LBS per cube foot and the specific gravity is .91 Mahogany is 28LBS per cube foot, and specific gravity is .45, assuming you're using American Mahogany ????. You'll note from the foregoing the Mahogany is half the weight of the Jatoba. You will notice the specific gravity is halved also. So according to that the Jatoba will sink deeper than the Mahogany. There's 13 different Mahoganies, so it will depend which species you are using. Hope this helps Larry. Since I'm retired Larry I can sit and write this kind of stuff all day. A fine excuse to keep out of the "BOSS'S" way.
