  1. Hello Friends, this is Paul’s son.    My dad had another stroke.   This one was a bit rougher than the others.    He is in a rehab facility after a 8 day stay in hospital.    He will be off the forum for a bit as an active participant but wanted me to login and say hi to the community.    Been showing him scrolling videos on YouTube as he is up for it.   His mind is good, lost the use of left hand for right now and shuffling a bit slow with assistance but plotting his return and  telling me about projects he has plans to do upon recovery.   Today he insisted I login and check on his peeps in here!    Thank you in advance for the support and prays.

Oh my goodness, He just messaged me not long ago to come down and visit him.  I will keep him in my prayers during this time.  Please tell him he better get better soon so he can play that weird instrument of his!  I would like to come visit him and Patti when he is up to it.  Let me know when you think that may happen.  Marie

He can take visitors and he loves it also.    Not to hold you off but he should be a lot more alert and attentive in a week or so.   He still remains pretty tired and confined to bed unless assisted.    He was a new man within  just a few hours at this facility, not because anything they did on arrival but the fighter in him realized he was not going to receive the same level of instant attention the hospital provided.  He self moved in bed more in three hours than I had seen all week combined in the hospital.   I was scared for him but he was responding very well to the new environment.   Thank you.
