    Hello

Great to have you join us. Look forward to getting to know you and seeing some of your work.
  16. I know the feeling..... I have a cat also.
  17. Another thought, for me it is not the vacuum noise I am worried about. I can not hear the vacuum because of the sucking air noise. So far I have not found a way to reduce that.
  18. Hummm, sounds like my dream, be in my shop and for some reason get stuck in there an can't get out... only access is enough room somewhere that my wife can pass dinner through.....
  19. Early snow even for Spokane. We had a few flakes fly by this morning in the Benton City area. Earliest I have seen. Maybe an interesting winter....
  20. Both very nicely done.
  21. Congratulations... You have a thoughtful wife. My wife bought me a Craftsman scroll saw on one of our early Christmas'. It was the worst saw I had ever seen in my life, but I used it for many years and never told her how bad it was,,, it was the thought of her doing it that was important to me... Hey, we just celebrated 52 years together a couple days ago...
  22. Another thing I read somewhere, sometime, the "dust extractors", like Fein and Festool are to run for long periods of time, where as, shop vacuums are made to run for much shorter periods. How true that is I do not know. I have had three shop vacuums in my 45+ plus years of wood working. They were not run for long periods but each one lasted many years... Just another thought to throw into the game. Kevin is correct an the Fein verses Festool. I bought the Fein, it was cheaper, after more study I realized to make the Fein equivalent to the Festool I would have to buy a HEPA filter. If you add the HEPA to the Fein, there are only a few dollars difference in price. I am thinking very seriously about adding the HEPA.
  23. Well done!
  24. Nice job. Looks like you have a nice shop to work in.
