  1. Do you have to use a wrench to tighten the blade in the clamp and it you do could you replace that bolt with on with a knob on it?
  2. Also, Looks likes you screw the blade holder close to hold the blade in place. I think I would make that a spring loaded thing that you could just pull back, insert the blade and release, pull back to release once the blade in clamped in the clamp. Well I know what I mean......
  3. Very well done. I enjoy seeing the painted ones. I don't have the nerve to try it.
  4. Just finished this one. I need to make another darn frame. But I really like the picture. It is a Mike Williams pattern. This is my tribute to what I think is the most beautiful North American wild animal there is. There is nothing much more thrilling than to be out in the mountains and hear one of these bugle. It is awesome. I cut it in 1/4" BB. If I did it again I would is a hard wood. I cut with #3/0 FD New Spiral, #2/0 Pegas spiral and a #3 FD Peguin Silver Reverse
  5. Look'n good!
  6. Man, of coarse God can do better, he has had lots of practice. You came a very close second! Great pattern, great scrolling and what a handsome little fellow he is...

You certainly did a beautiful job. I really like it.
  10. Sun Bean Tiger, the greatest car I ever owned!! Would love to have one again.
  11. That is going to brings some tears. Really nice.
  12. Got a picture of it,, that would help. The billows is $44.95. Or you could buy a aquarium pump like some people do. but like said depends on condition, what upgrades it needs and your location. A couple months ago there was a much newer one, 2012, if I remember correctly, looked new, with foot switch and some blades, for $495. This is in my area, Washington state, and it was listed for several weeks., over a month, I don't know if it sold or they gave up. Scroll saw do not sell well in my neck of the woods.
  13. Louis, very glad to have you joining us. Very nice scrolling you did.
  14. looks great, Gator. I've done a similar one a couple times. I think maybe you may have one or two more patterns than I have!
  15. Well now, that is cute...
  16. Great stuff! Yep, that little truck is really clever.
  17. This has been discussed as many times as whether to use blue tape or not..... I have finally come to the point,,, I don't care one way or the other, how people do things, it is if they are enjoying what they are doing that is important. And it is pretty much the same as it has always been, the same ones do it one way and the same ones do it another..... I do have one change in my methods that I will admit. I am top feeding on a lot of things now.... maybe not the same way most top feed, but I am doing it. Moved to some bigger patterns so I have had to,,,,, it's not so bad...
  18. This is not weird. I always look for thing the might work for scrolling. It is even worst if you are a pen maker...... Every thing I looked at I thought about how to make a pen out of it. Including all different colors of PVC pipe, cork, pinecones, seaweed,,,, anything!
  19. Very neat.
  20. Nice scrolling. Your Bedouins make a great pair.
  21. Those are great!!
  22. So you are planning a picture tutorial??
  23. That is just plane awesome!
  24. Those really look nice. There are going to be some very happy people this season....
  25. You can purchase them from Wooden Teddy Bear or Mike's workshop, both places are owned by the same person. And of coarse Amazon has their nose in there.
