  1. Does that modification work well for all sizes of blades?
  2. As a person that has no problem making up is mind..... I like either.. Very nice box...
  3. Just your usual beautiful work, Dave. As always, super scrolling and finishing.
  4. Well, for immediate short term would a paste wax like Johnson's help. I like the idea of powder coating. Do you have a place that does that near you. May not be as expensive as you might think... I have no idea what they charge for that.
  5. Nice picture!
  6. You sure didn't waste any time getting that cut. Terrific job. Great pattern Mahendra also.
  7. You sure have an artistic flair. Those are great!!
  8. In my 24 x 36 garage, I threaded heavy plastic blue tarp on a cable and divided off the work area. Was able to keep the area nice and comfy with just a small wood stove.
  9. I see you can get a 15 day free trial of Corel Draw. Maybe worth trying it that way. https://www.coreldraw.com/en/pages/free-download/
  10. I don't think any one gets tired of you posts. I certainly enjoy them and your enthusiasm rubs off on some old guy like me and gets be more excited about the hobby again. Like Jim states, try what you want. I would suggest trying the free software first and see if you like it. I don't really know what the purchased software offers above and beyond the free, maybe some one on here that has Coral Draw or other purchased software will explain, I have often wondered but didn't want to spend the money to find out.
  11. You can still get the Schwibbogens by Helmut, one of his grand children is working it. To bad he/she doesn't make their own site.
  12. Nice job. When I first learned how to use my Hegner, I broke a lot of blades. Rarely broke blades on the other saws I have had. Now I rarely break any on the Hegner.
  13. Nicely done, Dick. I'm working on a bugling elk right now, but it is not intarsia. I wish you would get Judy Gale Roberts new pattern of a sea turtle and do it....
  14. Another very well done piece.
  15. Very nice.
  16. Brenda, you really do yourself proud. Great picture, and great look the way you put it together. Amazing how far you have come in such a short time period. From a beginner to a pro in a few short months...
  17. @scrollingforsanity, Next time you are over here, stop by I will give you some....
  18. Super job Kevin!! Where did the pattern come from? Not that I need more patterns.
  19. Great job, I get headaches looking at it!!
  20. Ron, glad you are on the mends. So good to have you back.
  21. @Wilson142, That's right the DeWalt set is a little cheaper. No Tension lever on the top clamp. I will be anxious to read your take on them.
  22. @Wilson142, help a guy out, buy some, use them and see if you have the same problem with the 3/0 Spiral.....Then let me know, they are only $100.....
  23. @kmmcrafts, yes they have the swivel end, which I cleaned well.
  24. I have made all kinds of the know adjustments, cleaned all kinds of parts, cleaned blades, untwisted the ends of the blade with no improvement. I even thought of bad blades, but switched clamps and no problem so far. Keep in mind, this is a very thin flexible blade compared to all the other blades I use. I have not had this problem with any other size blades I use, well a few times with the Pegas 2/0 spiral, but I expect it to happen more often with a spiral blade than a flat blade... Maybe I will play with it more some day when I an trying to not make pictures frames that I need to be making...
  25. I have been using the #18 chisel blade in my x-acto knife for years and it has worked very well for me. This tool may even be better. Thanks
