  1. there is one in Portland, Ore. also. The text of the add said $110 or OBO. I emailed her and pointed out the error, said if it was not an error, I would be on my way to pick it up. This is a 22VS also, like new. She asked me how to sell one, I told her the simple truth was, scroll saws are hard to sell on the west coast and particularly in the NW. I also told her, she probably could not sell it for $1150 (what she originally had it listed at), and probably $750 or so was more realistic. We had a nice email conversation, I hope she gets closer to what she is asking, it is like new, it is a 2007 model. It is the first saw in the forth row of this page. https://portland.craigslist.org/search/tla?sort=rel&query=scroll+saw I wanted you to see all the Hawks for sell also. So many nice saws in the NW for sale. There is a beautiful like new and I mean looks like new Hawk G-4 model for sell in Tacoma, WA. Been listed for several weeks. Wants $950 for it, I know he won't get that much in this part of the US.
  2. Yes, well done!
  3. You just keep pumping out the beauties!!
  4. I like what I see hanging above and behind the saw. Tell us about those....
  5. Another very nice job!
  6. That really turned out nice.
  7. Thanks, I hope I can put it together to look like this. The frame it the picture here is photo shopped and the flag and backboard are no put together yet. Just trying to see how it might look.
  8. What do you think of this? with out the shadow...
  9. You guys with the talented painting wives are so lucky. It does really bring the cabin to life. Nice scrolling also. Great pictures.
  10. The black sticker on mine is for blade size recommendations. The plug on mine comes from the front of the motor, actually the side of the motor facing the front of the saw. That is where the speed control is mounted, so it could be VS. You would have to look at it or call and ask.
  11. I'm am adding this here from the "Works in Progress" forum hoping to get some more comment. I'm thinking about donating this to the "Friends of the NRA" banquet along with the 2nd Amendment plaque they request from me. I'd like to add some red, white and blue some where to it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. "Completed the cutting of this picture called "Guardian" and is a Charles Hand pattern. I've been playing around with it and the backer. Someway I want to do the backer/frame in red, white and blue. like the American flag. Not quite sure if that is going to work out or not. I have sorta/kinda a picture in my pea brain, but not sure how to work it out."
  12. Well it is an older model, no disc insert on the table. The table you see is on top of the real table. An Auxiliary table. Not sure it is a variable speed. Looks like a 16" model, just guessing on that from the looks could be a bigger one. It does have the tension release up front on the top arm. Has the Quick clamp (an important option). Has the optional bracket to hold the mag light. I just put one on mine today.. nice option, I hope... Foot pedal included, that is a must in my book.. If it runs smooth and quiet, appear to be in good shape... only seeing it in person can tell. My opinion is any Hegner is better than no Hegner at all..... Okay, I just made that up. But I love the Hegner saws.
  13. I predict that will be a seller for sure! Cool!
  14. That is a pretty one, for sure!
  15. Dan, you are having entirely too much fun! Nice puzzles.
  16. That is a beautiful breath. Befitting the season. Nice work.
  17. Very well scrolled. I can see why you are getting more orders.
  18. WOW, Dave. I love them both! Great pieces.
  19. The same with me, as RJ. I cannot see the picture in your post just above, because I don't have permission, have to be logged in.
  20. Hummm, am I the only one that see just one picture?
  21. I see, well again, I would try to find a way to fasten some Loc-line to the metal piece that is clamped to the saw. Where the arrow points. Could the end of that metal tube be threaded?
  22. Not totally sure how that works, but if you are correct, then yes it would be a deal breaker for me also. Knock on wood, but I never had a problem with my Ex clamps, I did replace the tension lever once, but it is a wear out item anyway. This clamp would have to really prove itself as an upgrade, for me to spend over $100 on it, (cost plus shipping). Maybe it is better, but I want to get more input from users.
  23. wonderful job!
  24. May have to make one for my Grandson. Thanks. You did a super job.
  25. I think if you go the Loc-line like in my picture you can even get that brass connection from an ACE Hardware. I was one this evening, looked in the plumbing section and they had a bunch of different sizes.
