  1. GOING TO BE OUTSTANDING!!!
  2. Really looks like it turned out very well!
  3. When I did mine, I took the EX table off and laid it on the piece of masonite. Use the appropriate size center punch to mark the center of the table top holes. Drilled and counter sank the holes in the masonite, drilled a little for the blades and put it back together. Took about 20 minutes.
  4. Some very beautiful cuttings. I'm especially into the NA ones.
  5. Very nice bird houses. I have got to do some.....
  6. Here is what I did with my Ex. It is using 1/8" masonite. Has lasted quite a while.
  7. Jim, a planer is for "planing" the boards to the desired thickness. It will not remove the warp. That being said, if you search the internet you will probably find it can be done, with use of some jigs/sleds. A jointer is more for removing warps and cupping. But with thin wood if the bow is more thin the thickness of the wood it won't get rid of it because it will eat all the wood. I think you would have better luck using weights to put on the wood and letting the piece sit for several weeks under weight. There are also some method like wetting one side, them putting weight on the board to flatten it. I am not an expert, but there is tons of info on this subject on the internet in woodworking forums and such. There is also lots of info out in the internet land about ways to stack wood to prevent the wood from warping, cupping, etc.
  8. Very well done!
  9. Be a pain for me as a bottom feeder also. I have a Hegner and do not like to have to do this no matter what I'm cutting. I like my Ex more also.
  10. You did a great job on those. As for you question, I wouldn't venture a guess. Copyright is very confusing, must be, just look at all the discussion and verity of opinions posted on this site alone.
  11. Really a nice piece and I think the flag background really improves it. Great idea, great job.
  12. Those are very nice. So is the stand you hang them on. I have some patterns for these. I want to make them to fill up a tree holder that I have hung several I made on the lathe when I was turning.
  13. I added the link the "View New Content" button produced to my "Favorites" folder, now I just click on it when I want to come here and it opens the link showing the new posts since my last visit... Works great.
  14. In my area I see quite a few Hawks come up for sale. Take your time, there will probably be others.
  15. Dave, you have mucho talent. Those are really nice.
  16. Very nice. I like the way the letter extends into the base. Make it look more like the base is part of the whole instead of just something for it to sit on. I know I done make any sense, but I understand me....
  17. Very well done, Clayton. I have that pattern and plan on doing it someday. I hope I can do as well. I also got my pattern from Charles Dearing.
  18. Great work.
  19. Great piece of work!
  20. Came out very very nice!
  21. I use tubes with labels. Got the tubes off E-bay very cheap.
  22. Great job. Had to squint my tired old eyes to see the little picture... Please be more generous with the picture size....
