  1. Nicely cut and good advice too!
  2. Very well done and I always like the use of "rescued" wood. That was rescued twice; so must be twice as good!

Nice cutting! I do argue about that "normal" thing. I like being way out of normal like I am! The people that I have met that claim to be "normal" make me want NOTHING to do with it!

A big "Thank You" to everyone for the kind words. Start with a shark outline and a little scissors or ?? modifications will work. Exact measurements are not needed. The thickness of the wood being used can vary also--hard woods can be thinner and work well. I have even made pine openers out of 3/4 inch scraps that work; just will have a shorter life. This is a very easy project with a scrollsaw; could also be done on a bandsaw and then stack cut, I think. The mouth works best from about 5/16th opening to 3/8 or so. the length of the mouth between bottom jaw front and top jaw should extend out about 1/2 inch for the best leverage. The bottom jaw cut should be at about a 75 degree angle, higher is to hard to make fit the bottle and lower weakens the jaw too much. These are approximate figures from my development. I will enjoy seeing your versions of the sharks!
