EXCELLENT EVERY PIECE!

Made from shop scraps and per-ordered. It is my"pattern" a lot of try then see! Is about 32 inches long for the unit. There is no metal anywhere in the build. Bamboo skewers were used as dowels where a fastener was needed. As this is going to be played with toy I added them to the wagon sides and hitch pin. The gluing areas of fenders, steering wheel, etc. were enlarged to give better strength too. Wheels are just hole saw slugs, re-drilled for a larger axle to accommodate rougher use. I use candle stubs to wax the axles for easier rolling on all the toys that I make.

Each of us has their own ideas of what is nice! I personally like the torching on many things; this included. Very nice work. I use a small piece of pvc pipe schedule 40 with a slot cut across the end to install cup hooks. ( The same 5/8th ID that I use for the cheat on drill press, chuck keys etc.It is about 7 inches long and just right for better strength with arthritis!))-- It works better than a pliers for installing the hooks without damaging them.

We have come to expect GREAT WORK from YOU! So this is just another of them! If you make a few more and try them in different color backgrounds; just to see what sells better on your web pages; I am positive the rest of us will want to know!

I only see one thing missing from that saw; I like the blade clamping and easy changing look of it. I like the tension as a knob on top. I do not see a light, but the magnifying LED that Rockler sells here for around $50 most of the time is a great light for sawing.

For a 2 year old's puzzle; I would use a fine tip on the wood burner and burn them in! Safer for chewing that way! As really fine cuts and I seem to not get along well, I cheat like that.

I have the same light and only use it occasionally now. The light is excellent; although, I would mount it as far back as I could and still use it easily, for maneuverability of the work. Rockler often has it on sale at $50. Before my DW 788 went "belly-up" I used it a lot. The factory light on the DW was junk! I replaced the DW with a Porter-Cable with a very good built on light. LED and a flex stem like the air-blower has; excellent set-up. Although the P-C is smaller and was less than 1/2 the cost that the DW had been, I like it well.

Scroll-sawing is an addiction; sometimes we sell things and the money always seems to end up back feeding our sawdust addiction. Good Score!

Nice work. Cold picture though! As a former resident of Nort-DE COLDER (North Dakota) I can relate to that picture too. we did use a sled like that to sometimes feed the stock!

Eyes do add; but you could have wood-burned them in and I (at least) would like them better that way! Many people will like them better this way though. They are very neat and well cut, I do like them

Very well done! Even if you had to argue with that "self" guy to do it. We find that we can do a lot of things that we never thought that we could. One of the very, very few advantages of poverty; is it forces us to try things we otherwise would have paid someone else to just do! Because of of those past circumstances; I can now do many more things than I otherwise would have been able to.

Both re very fine! Another idea would be a slice of log left with live edge and only slightly larger as a backer; especially a lighter wood for the walnut one.

Neat idea! Most of us have added addictions besides the thin blades!
