  1. They pretty ell summed it up. Possibly a transparent stain at the MOST! I would just use a clear on it though.
  2. Very nice work, good pattern, and I really like the idea of the old truck staying in the family and becoming young again!
  3. We have come to expect this kind of great work from you! I had a time to until I had looked at it sideways! Then it already looked good!
  4. I am not a fan of 57 Chevys; BUT I love that cut! Fantastic job! My favorite 57's were Ford Ranchero, Chrysler 300- Pontiac 2 dr HT Ford retractable HT--- Imperial convertible AND of course T-Bird!
  5. Anyone not using the tools in the shop; wasted their money buying them! Henry Ford invented the production assembly line to make more reasonably priced vehicles, NOT CHEATING. Being smart!
  6. Nice work. DICK! Make a series-- of the fifties/sixties/ seventies classic and muscle cars and sell them as sets. You could do a 57-67 & 77 Chevys, Fords and even the Mopars too! Rancheros-- El Camenos , and the GREAT T-Birds! A few BIG FINNED Cadillacs also to have for the aircraft carrier fans!
  7. Very nice! Everyone has their own ideas on what a thing should be finished like. I think that if you PLEASE the person in the mirror, you have succeeded!
  8. Extremely well done! Walleye are a very good dinner too!
  9. I agree with all of the above! I used to do some small business signs and was always happy when done and then sooner or later; I would end up doing another. Nice job and fro a good cause too!
  10. Great work! TWO --- for me! Way past both my skills and my patience abilities!
  11. They summed it up well. Great job. I really like the wood-grain showing through on the backer.
  12. Excellent! Will be very loved!
  13. Nice trivet! What ever spare part I ever seemed to have on hand-- then SOMETHING ELSE broke!
  14. Super cutting job.
  15. A.K.--the usual Very Nice Work-- they are taking advantage of you! Common sense would expect some other form of compensation at least if not monetary! Free coffee??? Donuts! A little token of appreciation of some kind would only be RIGHT!
  16. Just the usual A. K. work! Very well done! Hard to eat with no $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$4-- but, saying that I give away many things too. But; the money to me is extra-- not food/fuel/ clothes money!
  17. A.K. very nice cutting! If I am going to make something that is special and not that I could sell as a stock item; I will want at least something down! I just made a 12-plex bird house with NO money down; but, I could have easily sold it if they did not take it! They paid more than I asked and insisted on it.
  18. Nicely done and a tremendous amount of work!
  19. SSSSHHHH! No-one would KNOW! Nice save and nice work!

As a former ND farm boy; I like both!
  21. Just another planter. Made from 99% salvage material. Even the screws for this were salvaged. It is about 4 feet long and will be a deck planter. The old fence wood is burned (gone over with a propane torch--all real fires immediately extinguished, although some are left a little while just for a variance) to help the aged effect!
  22. S.S. is totally correct; we see our mistakes that everyone else misses! Also Very good first try! I am not that brave yet; may eventually give it a try; when I get my DW-#788; back among the living. Way to hard to get in holes on the Porter-Cable I am using now.
  23. Excellent work and expect some of us to "borrow==STEAL" your idea too. I will be among those to do something from it.
  24. Scrappile said it. Great work; will look even better when back-grounded and framed!
