  1. Names and eagles and ?????????????????? Neat work; wondering about your other talents! I do think you do marvelous on these though.
  2. Sorry about your bad luck! The wheel keeps turning though! I have seen the people that messed me over get a lot worse later on. So "Forgive & Forget!" Life will go on!
  3. Well done; took patience and skill! I do like the tow truck the best! I make playable "vintage" tow trucks, with working winches. Basically 40's and 30's styled!
  4. Ya ben flying high again! What a bunch of featherheads! Neat cutting; is the new saw worn out yet?
  5. Oh YES! The Sioux(Dakotah) warrior, the wolf and the eagle===++++ NICE !
  6. TWEET! TWEET! TWEET! Yeah; NEAT!
  7. Made totally from salvage cedar. Used many different tools; scroll saw, drill press, belt sanders (2) other sanders, even handsaws and a draw-knife that has to be on the top side of 70 years old. The screws were new; well most of them. I also do salvage some when I can. It was made with no plans, started with the wheel and proceeded from there. Supposedly already sold, but if not, I am sure it will sell.
  8. Too many blade changes for an old guy like me.. GREAT WORK and I admire your patience too!
  9. Nicely done! You can clean my shop at the same time. I will try to do it next week, if you have not finished by then!
  10. NEAT! I get free cedar scraps from a fencing company and make a lot of planters! I will be making some to drop over a deck rail, etc. Good Idea Thank You.
  11. A. K. being A. K. AGAIN! Good work-- hope it paid ell too!

    VERY NEAT!
  15. All the above pretty much sums it up! Two more saws and you will be out of ROOM AGAIN!
  16. Interesting and very well executed!
  17. Nice accomplishments!
  18. Nice cutting. Excellent pattern also.
  19. That was a good price; if you have the room for it! Some of these can be speed controlled by a separate speed controller that you plug the cord into. H-F has/had the controllers for about $15 the last one that I bought! It was not compatible with my belt-sander motor and we ended up using it on some outside lights! Get a "if it doesn't work; I can return it " promise when you purchase it. I use one on a rojter all the time.
  20. Schultz is still busy! Nice work Kevin!
  21. Sometimes ; "mistakes" are the best thing that could ave happened! Great save and I also think it adds!
  22. Good advice above; but, they forgot to mention speed of blades strokes adjustment and using a lube --clear packing tape/ and or a clear wax on the blade itself. As you cut more you will learn to "read' the saw and adjust as you cut on the blade and feed speeds! Lowe's etc also GOUGE on the blade cost terribly. A dozen on line and + shipping will probably come to you for the same price you pay for 4 now!
  23. They have given excellent advice; although no-one mentioned" shop size limitations" which may also affect the choice. I do make rocking toys and a few other larger items. and the larger capacity makes that a lot easier, but it can also be accomplished on a 16" saw-- just more difficult to cut some of the larger pieces. If you have a decent sized band saw some of the larger cuts can be done there also! SO The band saw availability and shop size can also be needed to be considered.
  24. Welcome to the tribe of SSV!. Ask questions -look throgh the patterns sections-- show pictures of your stuff and have a cutting good time! Somebody here will have most answers to questions!
