  1. Well it looks great to me, nice work!
  2. Looks good Gordie, nice work!
  3. Hey Jason, first, take a pencil and lightly shade the parts of the pattern that will be cut out. Doing this before you cut will help you keep track of the waste. As a scroll saw instructor, I teach my students to pick a side of the blade that will be the waste. For me, the waste is always on the right side of the blade. By doing this, you will always know which side of the line is waste and which side is the project.
  4. Welcome to the village Tom! Lots of folks here willing to share their talent and wisdom. So come on in, the waters fine! (At least here in So. Ca.).
  5. That's out of my price range!
  6. Nice looking projects Bobby! My muscle car was a 1962 VW Bug. It was pretty fast as I spent all my money building up the engine!
  7. An amazing job Tom! It was fun watching the build!
  8. Nice work Steve! I usually have a "Time in a bottle" in stock. Always get a lot of comments on it.
  9. Well Ron, you certainly have outdone yourself on this one! Beautiful work and craftsmanship on a great looking box!
  10. They look great Jeff! Love the four rules, they all apply to me. TMI.
  11. Yes Len, I understand that, but if the disk was trimmed down, it might not catch. It was just a though. I'm going to give it a try next time I'm ready to sand something.
  12. Hey Dave, I suppose you could trim off the excess with a sharp X-Acto knife. I haven't tried it yet, but I will next time.
  13. Nice work Mimi! Reminds me of my first car, a 1962 VW Beetle.
  14. I'm curious what The cost would be if you took Your defective motor to a motor shop and have it rewound?
  15. As I looked at the pictures, I was thinking these would make great jigsaw puzzles!
  16. Very cool and creative Monti!
  17. Very cool Bobby! Great pattern and great cutting, you did good!
  18. Looks great Gordie! Is that a Bobscroll pattern?
  19. If you place a light source off to one side of the blade, you will creat a shadow. This shadow intersects where the blade is. You now know where the blade is at all times!
  20. Hey Al, I use a shop vac connected to a Dust Deputy, but it is only hooked up to my random orbital sander. I use a full size 1 HP dust collector connected to a separator for everything else, including my scroll saw. The vac/ Dust Deputy does a great job for sanding, but I don't use it for anything else. The HP ratings on shop vacs are phony. It's impossible to get 5 HP on 110 volt circut. I 1/2 is about all you can get. The real ratings are amps.
  21. Great work Peter. That looks fantastic!
  22. Well Dick, I think you did a great job on both the pattern and cutting! I think it's a great gesture on your part!
  23. Randy, Steve Good just purchased a 3D printer. It seems he has figured how to make some money with!
  24. It's obvious they weren't!Well I pushed the button twice, obviously I wasn't thinking!
  25. It's obvious they weren't!
