  1. Nice cutting ub. If I where selling a custom portrait like yours, I would charge $150 to $175.
  2. Nice work frank!
  3. I personally have not bought from him, but I have heard nothing but good. As far as shipping, he is in Europe so I would think it's not cheap.
  4. Travis, I wish I could help but I can't draw a straight line! I'm hoping more of our great designers can help!
  5. Beautiful work!
  6. The easy solution is to buy ready made wheels. You can find them at any craft store along with axle pegs.

    Nice work Dan!
  8. Beautiful work, congratulations!
  9. Yes, that's a type one. But it also means it's twelve to fifteen years old!
  10. Hi Kelly, As a scroll saw instructor I start my students off with Olson skip tooth blades. They are an over all good blade and readily available. Personally I use Olson reverse tooth blades is sizes 2/0 to 9. I also use Flying Dutchman Ultra Reverse blades in sizes 1 to 9. The FD UR 2/0 do not work for me so I use Olson 2/0r instead.
  11. Thanks for the warm welcome! Lots of old friends here, I feel at home already! My avatar is a picture of a puzzle I made for my wife. It is from an old calendar. It's not our dog but we do have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that looks just like it. As for saws, I have two DW 788's. I do give private lessons in my shop once in a while and sometimes I need an extra saw when I teach at the store. Plus it's nice to have a backup! I'll post some pics when I get some sized.
  12. Hi everyone! Some of you may know me from other forums. Thought I'd come by and check you guys out. I have been scrolling for about twenty years. I enjoy all types of scrolling. I do three or four craft shows a year so I stay busy on the saw in my spare time. I also teach scroll Saw at the Woodcraft store in Ventura, Ca. Looking forward to particapteing here!.
