I agree. I've had them stretch during a cut and increased the tension on the fly on my Craftsman. I also replaced the set screw on the upper blade holder with a threaded knob which makes changing and aligning blades much faster and easier.
I have a Craftsman 16" too. I replaced the Allen screw in the upper blade holder with a threaded knob and blade changes are much faster now. I'm also more able to lock them in a parallel position. I, too, use Olson blades with good success.

Thanks Len. I used a free program called Rapid Resizer that has a part called Picture Stencil Maker that turns the picture into line art. I then transferred that into Inkscape so I could eliminate all the "islands" and unnecessary lines.
