I glue on the wood . I've had some bad luck with the tape breaking my fret work so now I use glue and mineral sprits .

I'm always looking for mini drill bits for pilot holes . Today I was at Menards and I found a 25 pc. Set 0.5-3.0mm for under $4.00 . Just thought I would share that with you all.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments . I'm sorry about the pictures don't know why they fell over . Also l would like to say that even though I took my time and tried to do a good job l was very impressed by how complete the cutting and assembly instructions are . without them I would still be recutting . This pattern is such a great example of Dirks great skill at pattern making . He was great .

This clock is made of Oak it took about 40 hrs to make and it is setting on a shelf that was the very first thing I ever made its 25 years old . Thank you for the comments Bill
