Done that plenty of times and then spent more time going through the scrap pile looking for lost pieces

Great idea and fantastic cutting.....I use to flatten them and use them on my fishing line as lures and weight....on the train tracks by the way. Canada has done away with the penny,so now I have a use for the ones I have saved.
