  1. Well I decided that I will make the key chains with the word hugs cut out and filled in with the FIMO clay. I also think I'm going to do different colors for each letter so they stand out more. Kids like colors. I want to thank all of you for all your great ideas. Made my decision much easier. I'll put a pic of one of them on here when I'm done.
  2. The only thing with hugs is I have 24 of them o do. I like the idea with the word hugs maybe in the center of the key chain and put different colors of the FIMO baking clay. That way they all get a hug.
  3. Thanks Denny. I might try a couple and see how it looks. I am leaning towards Steve Goods Oval Key chains but without the names. I printed out some of his pages from his catalog with different designs and I would be able to stack cut them 4 or 5 at a time and fill in the cutout with FIMO baking clay and then dip them in poly or something else.
  4. That's not bad Denny. That's all the kids do is hug me every time they see me in the hallways. How did you cut it and how thick was the wood. Do you have a pic of one.
  5. Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone out there had any ideas for me to make something simple for my Kindergarten kids for there last day of school which is May 24. I have 15 girls and 9 boys. Looking for something small that I can stack cut and just dip in some poly to finish them off. I was thinking about Steve Goods Oval Keys with there name on them but there's 24 different names and I won't be able to stack cut them. Any ideas are more that welcome. Thanks, Ralph.
  6. Thanks Frank.
  7. Joe, those came out great. That's a lot of puzzle cutting.
  8. Gary, that came out great.
  9. Frank, I love the fishing one. Who's pattern is it. I would love doing that for my Grandson.
  10. Kevin, you been a busy man. They all look great.
  11. Randy, you are one of the best I've seen in cutting coins. You never seize to amaze us with all your coins. Thanks for sharing and for all your advice you give out.
  12. Nice and simple Edward. Looks great.
  13. Cute little Dragon. I have a few patterns of Dragons that I haven't cut yet. My Grandson loves Dragons. Maybe one day I will get to it.
  14. That came out great Thomas. I can see how tough cutting out those squares could. They look perfect.
  15. Nice cutting on those crosses Kevin. I've done a couple of them and I know there a lot of work cutting.
  16. Glad your back Jerry. I know what it's like to have a bad back. I have one myself and deal with the pain everyday. I hurt mine on the fire department back in the 80's and it's never been the same. Were not as young as we used to be and we feel it a lot more now.
  17. Gordie, I love the way those came out. I couldn't tell if you painted those letters on or put a white backer on them. So your telling me that you cut those letters out at a 5 degree angle so they are raised up a little.
  18. Denny, I love that. The red is great on that piece. I made one for a 50th for a friend of mine but it was a little different. I like your a little better I think.
  19. Good going Kevin. Those look great. You are the man with signs. It's good to stay busy.
  20. Thanks again everyone.I guess you never know what you can accomplish until you try.
  21. Hey Ron, that's my sons job to fill it up. Can't wait to get the bottle opener and Yankee sign for the front. That will finish it off. Thanks everyone for the compliments. I have to say, I was a little worried when I first started making it.
  22. That came out great. One of these days I'll have to try and make a clock. Gonzo, I use my I pad also and never had that problem yet. Take it to one of the IPAD stores and have them show you how to do it and see what they say about rotating by itself.
  23. Your a busy man Frank. They all look great.
  24. Denny, that came out great. Love the finish. Of course all your work is great.
