  1. Those came out great. I really like the second one.
  2. You did good on that Dick. I know some of those turns can be a real pain. I don't know if I would even tackle something that big.
  3. Jim, I glued Padauk together before when making collapsible bowls. Just glued them together with no problem. You might also want to flip your boards so the end grain is going in opposite directions which keeps the board from bowing in the middle. Good luck.
  4. Hi everyone, I'm trying to download a pattern that Jesse put on the Bragging page. It's the football helmet but I can't seem to get it to work. Is there a trick to doing this. I clicked on the pattern and saved it but it's very small. Can someone tell me how to do this. Thanks, Ralph.
  5. Roly, I got them On Amazon. Here's the link. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004P4OB4S?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00
  6. Ho Roly, I got them from Amazon. Here's the link. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004P4OB4S?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00 Hope it works. Steve had the size and link on his pastern.
  7. That came out great Marg. I don't have to nerve to try something like that. Wouldn't know where to start.
  8. That came out great Dave. Nice paint job to. Thanks for sharing.
  9. Nice Jesse, My two nephews are football players. Might be something I could make for them. Put there name on the football and number on the helmet. The only problem I'm having is I can't seem to download it. Can someone tell me how to do it. Thanks, Ralph.
  10. Randy, that came out great. You are really the pro on cutting coins.
  11. That came out great Dick. I also have trouble with spiral blades to. Only used them a few times and just can't get the hang of it. Still a little Leary of them.
  12. Hi everyone, Just finished this one today. Really it's not completely finished, I still have to sand it a little more and put a finish on it. This is a Steve Good pattern. Pretty easy to do. I used some Maple I had left over. It's 1/4 inch stock and I made two of them at once by stacking the pieces. It's for my Granddaughter for Valentines day. Hope she likes it.
  13. I like that one Dick. Going to look great finished.
  14. Nice job on that one Kris. Should look great in a frame.
  15. Nice job on that. I guess it could be anything you want it to be. Some times thge finishing is harder that the cutting.
  16. Nice job Dan, I have a few of those trucks myself.
  17. I don't see anything either Dan.
  18. Great looking Paul. I have a piece of wood like that to and not sure what to do with it yet.
  19. Looks great. I would leave well enough alone. Sometimes to much is not good.
  20. Nice cutting Dick. She will love it.
  21. Those are great Helmut. How big are they. My Granddaughter would love that.
  22. Nice job on that Dave. Great wood choice. I don't know prices either. I don't sell anything I make even though many people ask me if I would sell some of my pieces. Wouldn't know what to charge and i guess I'm a little attached to them.
  23. That came out great. I see a lot of cutting there. I like the idea with the branches.
  24. A little sanding it will look good. Try a #2 puzzle blade from Mikes workshop or a # 3 reverse. I've cut out a few out of oak with a #3 and didn't have to sand it at all. Very clean cut. Don't cut to fast either. Let the saw do the work. Practice makes perfect. Good luck.
  25. Came out great Steve. You should show it to Coke. They have to make a bunch for them.
