Well I finished my Grandsons sword holder. I made it out of 3/4 poplar and it measures 20 long x 9 high. I made it so it holds two swords instead of one and added a little red dragon to the top because I thought it needed something. There's no pattern for this. I just downloaded some pictures and kinda pieced it all together. Hope he likes it

Hi Paul, quick question. The 1/4 inch dowel that goes in the lid and the base, is the lid the only part that gets glues in and if so, how does the bottom part stay in so the lid turns.. Thanks, Ralph.
