I'm wondering what it would look like without the paint on the phoenix. Just the background paint. I think it takes away from the scroll work, but that's just me.
Mom is in San Antonio. Her pipes froze even with the trickling water. The pipes aren't buried under the frost line or I should say a frost line that northern states would understand.
I got the midshipmen with sea bats. You make up something to get them to look at the deck (usually phosphorescing plants in the water.) and then use the bat on their backside. One big guy from Nebraska got mad at us. He couldn't see the sea bats.
Same as everyone else. Dead man switch from Harbor Freight. I like being able to lift the foot to kill the power when the saw scares the crap out of me by breaking a blade.
I just used some the other day. They don't work as well as a regular blade, but I had no problem getting my dewalt to clamp them down. I believe I was using a 2/0, but I could have been under the influence. I was using a spiral blade afterall.
Thanks for all the advice. I'm using the normal 1/4" BB from Home Depot. Looks like standard 5 ply to me. I'll have to try the zero clearance card and maybe just change out my blades more often. I'm bad at using a dull blade.
I've been getting some tear out cutting portraits in 1/4" baltic ply so I thought I would ask the experts on advice. What blades are your favorites? Do you use any kind of top or backer board?
I've been using FD #1 reverse on my Dewalt. Any tips or tricks are greatly appreciated. Cutting most of a portrait just to have a piece break off is killing me.
