    No they are not, I cut the leaves out and I poured coloured epoxy in the hole.

    Wow wow wow that is some fine cutting.

    Don modified the pattern form square to round in order for me to be able to use this live edge birch cutout. After cutting the leaves out Don suggested that maybe using Epoxy will enhance the trivet. Here is the result, I might use a clear coat to finish it up.

    Last year I cut over 150 of these critters and since we still wear masks I thought maybe they will sell again. My wife is the one that paint them, this is a big help.

    Had a special request to cut the “Penny drop box” from Steve Good with the inscription “Brew Crew”. Since it is done with 1/4” BB apply I decided to stacked cut two and just added the Brew Crew on one box, spare one for inventory.

    Did some 3D Christmas ornaments and my brother-in-law wanted a display for his collection of Zippo lighthers. I made that display before for golf balls so I basically copy the pattern without the holes for the balls.

    These turned out very good. There is nothing wrong with the segmentation piece, we are always our worst critic.

    I had some leftover epoxy from making a charcuterie board, so after receiving the latest scrollsaw magazine I decided to try the leaves. Pieces of scrap walnut and cherry and here is my result.
