  15. We had more than 100milliters of rain in the last 3 days so spend some time on the scrollsaw. Now that I have installed the new Pegas blade holder on my EX I find that it is so nice to work with the saw. 16. I'm glad you made the plunge, happy sawing
  17. With the new Pegas clamps you will find that you barely need .to apply pressure to the screws and after 5 days of cutting not one slippage, love my new Pegas clamps.
  18. The thumb screws are included in the blade holder kit and also somebody just post on another site that so far he has more than 120 hours and not even one blade slippage occurred.
  19. Received my Pegas blade holder today and installed it on my EX (10 minutes) what a difference, hardly any pressure to clamp the blade, less vibration on the saw also it maintain the pressure on the blade. I really recommend this new blade holder to me it is worth the money and more. Cannot go wrong with Swiss inventions.
  20. I buy them from this place very good service www.dndsawbladesonline.com/ Also you can check Bear woods Canada
  21. I ordered the Pegas blades holder from 'Gessweincanada' they are in Toronto. I checked Bear woods first and I saved $30 ordering from Gesswein. Shipped via Purolator, ordered yesterday will receive today.
  22. Spend a bit of time in the shop to make something for the nephews, we had a real hot spell here lately so it was nice in the basement with the AC on.

I have this saw for over 3 years, never had a problem just run like the "Energizer Bunny".
  24. I have exactly the same model, it is no more than 5 years old and like somebody said bring some blades and piece of scrap wood with you and testing at slow speed and full speed, also test that the head move left and right. I will say from the look it seems to be in very good shape. Do not worry to much about vibration because you can adjust this by moving the motor back and forth. Goid luck
  25. With bad weather outside it is always nice in my basement so spend a bit of time making sawdust. Haida pattern is from Frank, trivet pattern is from Bobscroll and the Yoda I don't remember but it is from a member of this site. Also I did a pattern from Wayne Mahler to bring with me for a gift to the owner of a place in Stowe Vermont that we have been for over 25 years.
