  8. I like the square one also. dave
  9. It is always worth a phone call to check on the warranty. dave
  10. Looks great. I need to try one some time. dave
  11. DW, I used pre-catalyzed lacquer. I warned them that if they put it outside that I doubt if it holds up very well. dave
  12. Great idea! Thanks for sharing. dave
  13. This was ordered by an Illinois State University employee. It is a gift for her boss who is retiring. It appears that Steve, Heidi and Sam are going to enjoy retirement. Of coarse I had to add Rggi, the school mascot. I got a crafters license agreement to use their logo. dave
  14. Those are soo cute. dave
  15. Super nice job. davd
  16. Great job and pattern. dave
  17. I get a lot of request for memory plaques which I really enjoy doing. I haven't made two alike so far. This is a quick easy cut. Made of red oak stained special walnut, 12 1/2 " in diameter. I spray all my projects with pre-catalyzed lacquer.
  18. I posted previously that the bearing went out of my saw in about the first ten months. Since it was under warranty I took it to a service center to get it repaired. After two weeks they called and said it fixed. Last Wednesday I went to pick it up. Before I left I looked it over good and could tell that there was still a problem with the bottom blade holder. I was pretty upset but did my best to be nice. They told me to take the saw home and use it until they could get me a new one. It usually pays to be nice. I am so ready to get it. This one sounds like it is ready to fly apart. I better learn to lube and work on the new one. dave
  19. Nice job! Congrats, hope you have many more. dave
  20. Really nice job. dave
  21. Denny, I really like your bird houses. You do a great job on them. I do a lot with red oak and I know how hard it is cutting 3/4" let alone the thickness you make these. The blade wants to lean on me. dave
  22. Thanks to all of you for the kind comments. dave
  23. I designed this baby gift for some friends. They are a super musical family. If they were around when I was young they would have been considered hippies. The music bar I took from the Beatles song "All You Need Is Love" . The plaque measures 14" x 12" made of red oak stained Special Walnut. dave
  24. Great pattern and cutting. I especially like it lit. dave
