  1. Thanks Pete. Got to get the others finished before putting up the display.
  2. Thanks RJ. I will be working on the others this week.
  3. Thanks Peter
  4. Thanks, Paul. My wife mentioned about the 3 layers too!
  5. Layered Snowflake Ornament #1 pattern by Keith Fenton and found in SWWC Winter issue page 72. I stack cut two blanks 1/4" x 4" square for each top (Ash) and back (Eastern Red Cedar}. I found the Eastern Red Cedar is too fragile and broke when sanding, so I balanced by cutting off every other little piece. Cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using #1 MGT blades. After sanding, dipped in diluted Shellac and the one coat of spray Lacquer Clear Gloss. Comments welcome.
  6. Welcome to the forum from Tennessee.
  7. I love compound cutting, so I would say the Miniature Birdhouse Ornaments as I made over 350 through the years.
  8. My That is an impressive piece. A work of art.
  9. I too have pictures of all projects. The problem is at ArtCrafters, I tend to give away projects with no record. I give "HUG"s at ArtCrafters and someone just said I got one several weeks ago. I told her it is good to collect "HUG"s.
  10. Like Ray says, a picture might help, but I doubt that it is from the blade.
  11. Master scroller there, Jim.
  12. The cutting is outstanding as usual. I must try coloring.
  13. Very well done.
  14. My but that is very well done.
  15. All good comments. Progress is not measured in speed, but the quality of the project. I tell new scrollers to keep their first piece and as you advance, you will be amazed at the progress.
  16. On that piece, I like the color.
  17. It was a one piece.
  18. I have the same saw and the same problem, but my bolt snapped. I called Ray at Seyco at there is a part he suggested that replaced the complete assembly. Not a problem since. This goes back to before he sold the Seyco scroll saws.
  19. That is a work of art.
  20. I am not into Halloween, but that is very well done.
  21. Mighty fine cutting
  22. Wonderful presentation
  23. But a long way to drive, Norm!
  24. Mighty fine cutting and the colors are amazing.
