All good comments. Progress is not measured in speed, but the quality of the project. I tell new scrollers to keep their first piece and as you advance, you will be amazed at the progress.
I have the same saw and the same problem, but my bolt snapped. I called Ray at Seyco at there is a part he suggested that replaced the complete assembly. Not a problem since. This goes back to before he sold the Seyco scroll saws.
A custom order for the "Wedding Rings" designer unknown. I used 1/2" solid Cherry and cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #1 and #3 MGT blades. After sanding with a Mac Mop sprayed with 2 coats MinWax Lacquer Clear Gloss sanding between coats. Comments welcome.
I purchased from Ocooch Hardwoods for over 10 years and only one incident which they rectified right away. I received my order yesterday with no problems.
