  1. Thanks. Sanding not bad using a Mac Mop.
  2. Thanks RJ. Just not a basket case!
  3. Thank Paul. A little difficult to line up.
  4. A finished basket. The pattern #C-09 is by Alex Fox. I enlarged the pattern by 30% and used 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood 10" square. Cut on the Pegas scroll saw using Pegas #1R MGT blades. After gluing and sanding, the finish is one coat spray Shellac, another sanding and a final coat of spray Lacquer Clear Gloss. Comments welcome.
  5. Those are beautiful, Frank
  6. What a wonderful gift. A treasure.
  7. I used plywood because of the strength it provides. I don't think mdf will give the strength needed.
  8. Thanks ralph. The cutting didn't take long, just an afternoon at ArtCrafters. Cutting along with doing lots of other things.
  9. Thanks Rolf. I saw your jig on the other forum, but I line up by sight. Glue squeeze out is always a problem.
  10. Thanks for the nice comments. These are fun to make.
  11. I sell Pegas blades online at: Pegas Scroll Saw (artcraftersonline.com)
  12. Thanks Pete. One ring in the morning, then off to ArtCrafters and then one ring at night.
  13. Thanks Dave.
  14. Thanks. Maybe back to puzzles.
  15. Thanks RJ.
  16. Thank you, Ron.
  17. Thanks Rodney. After finishing this one, turned into my favorite Alex Fox Basket pattern
  18. A finished Alex Fox basket pattern C03 enlarged 30%. I used 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood 10" square. Cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #1 MGT blades. After sanding with a Mac Mop, I glued each ring and waited for the glue to dry, so the glue up took time. The finish is spray Lacquer Clear Gloss. Comments welcome.
  19. Welcome to the Village forum from Tennessee
  20. It sure does. You might remember the Flamingo puzzle I finished. It sold even before I could paint it.
  21. Wonderful cutting and a treasure.
  22. Those are way cute.
  23. Good looking whale. What do you mean, “under the surface”? I hope you are well.
  24. I, too, removed it as I set up the saw.
  25. Wonderful projects.
