  1. Thank Marg. So true about the veining.
  2. Thanks Joe,
  3. Thanks Pete. This is a special order, but given to a special friend.
  4. A Shih Tzu Puzzle finished this weekend. The pattern is by Harvey Blyer. I used 3/4" Poplar approximately 6" x 10". Cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #3R MGT blades and #5R MGT blades for the veining. After sanding with a Mac Mop, dipped in diluted Shellac. Comments welcome.
  5. Well, I still have all my fingers and I only use my fingers.
  6. What works for you, Ray is always good.
  7. You mentioned blade placement. The blade should be about 1/8" above the set screw on the upper chuck.
  8. Thanks RJ. I tried staining but a little blotchy.
  9. Thanks Dave.
  10. Thanks Barb. The idea of the twigs was an artist in studio at ArtCrafters.
  11. Thanks Marg.
  12. Thanks Pete. I hope you get your copy soon.
  13. Thanks, Melanie. Hope you get yours soon.
  14. Cardinal Puzzle designed by Sarah Lyn Chamberlain, found in the new issue #89 of Scrollsaw Woodworking & Crafts. I used 1/2" Hard Maple and cut on the EX21 (at home) using FD UR #3 blade. Stained with Samam Stain and dipped in Shellac diluted with denatured alcohol. Sanding with a Mac Mop between coats. Fun to have artists in studio to add the twigs before shrink wrapping.
  15. There has to be an app for that! LOL
  16. Beautiful puzzle and the finish is outstanding.
  17. Very nice basket.
  18. Very well done.
  19. Blade slippage is usually a function of the set screw and or thumb screw with swivel. Check to see if the swivel is functioning correctly.
  20. Thanks Pete.
  21. My wife calls it a Bible shelf!
  22. Welcome to the forum from Tennessee. As a Pegas dealer, if you have any blade questions, I would be happy to help.
  23. Wonderful cutting, fantastic colors and nicely framed too.
