  3. Looks good.
  4. Might as well see if anyone likes it. The worst that can happen is you will take it and end up bringing it home, which isn't a terrible problem. Looks good.
  5. Great Job!
  6. I haven't put any on my scroll saw, but made a workbench that I mounted wheels on. Its nice to be able to roll it around the shop to where I need it, or get it out of the way if necessary. I bought wheels out of Rockler. They use a cam design to set the bench on the ground when I need it stable, but are easy to put the wheels back down when needed.
  7. Great pattern and cutting.
  8. In response to Blaughn's comment on the fumes. One thing to remember about respirator masks is that they are particulate masks, not designed to keep out fumes. While some seem to keep the fumes at bay, they will not stop them completely. They will stop fine dust and smoke, and other microscopic particles.
  9. Looks good!
  10. I've tried to cut deer antlers once. What I noticed, first off, is the smell, which is not good. Secondly, they were a little interesting to cut as there were hard and soft spots. I set up speed up and used a fairly thick, stout blade. I was just cutting off the buttons, so nothing intricate. So not sure how that would work.

  12. Very nice. Once ya start turning, it's hard to stop.
  13. Paul, they are wind up. There is a two inch hole underneath for access to the winding key. It also works as somewhat of an amplifier. Len, Both are already sold. Guess I need to make a few more.
  14. I just finished 4 Christmas music boxes. The pattern for the churches is from one of the 2004 Scroll Saw Workshop magazines. The barns are my own creation based off of that pattern. They contain music movements that play when the door is opened. I have movements for "Joy to the World", "Silent Night", and "Away in the Manger". They also light up from within. Already have one of the churches spoken for.
  15. Great, great job!
  16. I have purchased quite a few patterns in the past that I am still working through. I will continue to buy them if they catch my eye, but I also have started trying to design my own. Mostly so I can do some that are unique and I've got quite a few pictures that I think would make great patterns.
  17. Looks great!
  18. I built one out of 2X4's and plywood too. I set the height right for me so that I can either stand (for when I need to move around doing larger pieces) or sit on a bar stool (when I'm doing small stuff). I don't have wheels on it, but have thought about adding them. At the moment, it's set in a good spot, so I don't need to move it unless I'm cleaning, which doesn't happen enough... or actually, ever.
  19. By the way, I'm a huge fan of your patterns. I think I have bought a few but haven't taken the time to cut them out yet.
  20. Great Job!
