  1. I agree with Jay - a beauty for sure. Reminds me of the old foot treadle sewing machines with the ornate metal pieces on it. Thanks for sharing.
  2. Very nice looking Trivet with good cutting and finishing. Thanks for sharing.
  3. Looks like you and your wife make a great team. Finished piece looks very nice. Thanks for sharing.
  4. Very nice Frank. I would think that clock would work for any gamer, gals or guys. Thanks for sharing.
  5. Nice work Al and I am sure your brother and his great grandson will love it. You may have to make one for your brother too once he sees it. Thanks for sharing.
  6. Nice job. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Wow - 3 attempts - a man determined and much more patient then I am. Thanks for sharing. I have gotten some spiral blades but haven't even attempted to test them out yet. Figure it will be a while before this newbie ventures down that road!
  8. Nice work Pete. Time in front of the saw well spent. Thanks for sharing.
  9. Nice job on those. Thanks for sharing.
  10. I agree Frank - why not indeed. I am sure there are many people who would go "Ape" over these. Nice work as always. Thanks for sharing.
  11. Great job on both pieces. I am sure many horse lovers would love to have either piece. Looks like your practice is paying off. Thanks for sharing.
  12. Neat idea and great job. Hope they are good sellers for you. Thanks for sharing.
  13. Great job on them all. Thanks for sharing.
  14. All interesting approaches. Some a little "nicer looking" then others but all effective at their jobs looks like. I really like the tray Paul @woodduck added. I like it gives a place to set his blade holder he made from looks like Steve Good's pattern with the test tube style holders. I made two of those myself and have been trying to decide the best way to keep them handy. Presently, they are sitting on the bottom "shelf" of the saw's stand. Will have to give this a little more thought and maybe give it a try. Thanks everyone who shared photos of your approach.
  15. Okay, I have a question in regards to the "Notifications" - on the old setup there was a way to "delete" notifications - one at a time or all of them - I have two pages of "notifications" (don't worry - I have checked them all ) but I don't see any way to "delete" them once I have seen and reviewed them. Anyone know if you can or not? @Travis can we delete notifications still or not?
  16. Congratulations on your find. hopefully one of the Hawk owners here can help you out with some more information soon.
  17. More great work Dan. I have to remember to show these to my son when he gets home for the summer from college in another week. I think he would like them. Might make a great project for he and hubby to work on together (or with Mom )
  18. I had to laugh but then had to add - that fortunately I would not have used this one for my MIL. She was a wonderful woman - even to me as a DIL.
  19. Beautiful work - amazing that it has survived this long. Would love to see how he did it way back then. Thanks for sharing Randy.
  20. Glad you were able to move down with the crowd and got some good sales after that. Better luck with the next one regarding all of it.
  21. Thanks for clarifying Jim. Perhaps @Travis can provide you with some more insight. I don't have a Windows 10 computer here at my house so I am not sure I can be of further help in trying to help you sort it out. Perhaps someone else who is running on Windows 10 can. Do you know how to take "screen shots" to show us what you are seeing?
  22. @dgman Dan, I typically use my iPad in vertical (probably because I typically use it to read books and that is how I usually read them) unless I have trouble reading something then I will switch it to horizontal or landscape to get "bigger". Glad you noted the difference and Travis explained it for us. That way everybody who reads it will be aware of the difference depending upon which way you "view" the forum on the iPad. We were traveling out of town this past week so the iPad was all I took for "viewing". Much prefer to view the forum on my computer when I am at home.
  23. Here's what I see on top right on my iPad (when I am at the very top of a page or thread. If not at top, i don't see it until I scroll all the way back up.) then if if I click on the far right on the 3 lines I see this menu on the right side as shown below: note the red arrow I added showing the bell for notifications and envelope for messages. Below that it shows "sign out" which means I am signed in but does not show my username. Next button allows me to mark entire forum as read. Then below that are different areas as noted.
  24. Hi Jim and welcome home. First, let's clarify something - what piece of electronics are you on when you are coming to the forum? A computer/laptop? An iPad or tablet of some kind? A smart phone like an iPhone or another brand? I ask this because what you are going to see on a computer versus a tablet versus a smart phone is going to be different. Since you are not seeing some of the things others are referencing I am wondering if you are on a tablet? I am usually on via a computer but am presently on via my iPad and what I see or don't see from my iPad is different then when I am on the computer. So, tell us what you are using to access the forum and we can go from there.
  25. Another welcome from Tennessee. Looks like you are off to a good start.
