Very nice work. I love those Santa and Mrs. patterns from Judy Gale Roberts. I have them on my long "to do list." You did great work on them. Thanks for sharing.
  2. I agree, excllent piece of work you have done. thanks for sharing.
  3. Just as nicely done as your animal puzzles Iggy and it never hurts to expand your supplies into other areas. Might could qualify as an "animal" puzzle since it's a "beetle" or a "bug" Thanks for sharing.
  4. A beautiful piece of artwork that is enhanced by the framing work that you did. Thanks for sharing.
  5. Cute project Casey. Thanks for sharing.
  6. Great idea. Look good. thanks for sharing your photos.

  8. Beautiful piece Helmut. Thanks for sharing.
  9. That's just absolutely beautiful and stunning piece of artwork. BUT, there is no way I would let anyone throw darts at it! Especially my son and his friends - I've seen the damage they can do with darts! Thanks for sharing your photos.
  10. Hi Clifford and welcome to the forum. I am from East TN and a relative newbie myself around here but I think you will find that everyone here is more then willing to help out as needed. Look forward to seeing what you do with your saw.
  11. Welcome Tim. I am from East TN and am a relative newbie to the saw and the forum myself. What I have found here is a great bunch of people always willing to help out and to ooh and awe over other's creations - even a newbie's! I look forward to seeing your work and participation here.

    One more

Glad he has lived so long in a profession that does not make that easy so that you could celebrate with him with your beautiful cut project. Thanks for sharing and to him for his years of service.
  14. More beautiful work with these patterns Denny. I really like this look with the plywood. I agree, it givens it more of the "ribbon" look to them. For those of you interested in the patterns, but don't have the magazine that they originally appeared it, you can contact Karen at theartfactory. When Denny first shared these back in late August in this thread: http://www.scrollsawvillage.com/topic/20554-ribbon-ornaments I knew I would like to try them but also knew that I didn't have that magazine. As a result, I went "searching" to see if there was a way to find the pattern. I reached out to Karen and she was able to sell me the set of patterns. They are not listed on her website but the pattern number is #474. I emailed her through the website's "Contact Us" page found here: http://theartfactory.com/contact-us/ She was very quick to reply and she mailed them out right away. You can contact her the same way about ordering a set. I told her then I would share this information so she would know where/how she was suddenly getting inquires on the patterns. So, I thought I would share it again here in case others wanted to try these but didn't have that magazine and had missed it in the original post. Thanks again for sharing Denny. Clearly they are a hit!
  15. Great work Kevin. Thanks for showing your photos.
  16. Thanks for the additional Information Charley. Since hubby is the mechanically inclined one, I will get him to help me check it out based on your information provided here when he has some time.
  17. Funny, I was just looking at several of those patterns on Steve's site just yesterday. I love the layered ornaments - looks great why the different colors of wood to help highlight the layers. Thanks for sharing your photos.
  18. Beautiful work and project yet again Helmut. Thanks for sharing your photos with us. Thank you too for being so generous and helping out the Kindergarten class with your time, talent and funds raised from your hard work.
  19. Beautiful dog, excellent work on the pattern. A great way to celebrate your love for Holly. Thanks for sharing.
  20. Great reworking of Steve's pattern to make it enclosed so that it is more eye appealing. Thanks for showing your followup work and photos from round 2.
  21. Agree, excellent pattern making and cutting sills to create another work of art of the image you found online. Thanks for sharing.
  22. Thanks for sharing your detailed information Charley. I will have to see if my hubby is willing to look at and service the Dewalt I have. It started making some noises a while back but I clearly don't have the knowledge or expertise myself. He does a lot of mechanical repair work around the house (though that is not what pays the bills) so he might be willing to look into this for me if I can give him such good info.
  23. Great looking ornaments Rolf. Did you leave any unpainted but just wood colored to see how they sell in comparison?
  24. Nice work. Glad they were able to give you choices to work with. Thanks for sharing the photo of your completed project.
