    One more

Glad he has lived so long in a profession that does not make that easy so that you could celebrate with him with your beautiful cut project. Thanks for sharing and to him for his years of service.
  3. More beautiful work with these patterns Denny. I really like this look with the plywood. I agree, it givens it more of the "ribbon" look to them. For those of you interested in the patterns, but don't have the magazine that they originally appeared it, you can contact Karen at theartfactory. When Denny first shared these back in late August in this thread: http://www.scrollsawvillage.com/topic/20554-ribbon-ornaments I knew I would like to try them but also knew that I didn't have that magazine. As a result, I went "searching" to see if there was a way to find the pattern. I reached out to Karen and she was able to sell me the set of patterns. They are not listed on her website but the pattern number is #474. I emailed her through the website's "Contact Us" page found here: http://theartfactory.com/contact-us/ She was very quick to reply and she mailed them out right away. You can contact her the same way about ordering a set. I told her then I would share this information so she would know where/how she was suddenly getting inquires on the patterns. So, I thought I would share it again here in case others wanted to try these but didn't have that magazine and had missed it in the original post. Thanks again for sharing Denny. Clearly they are a hit!
  4. Great work Kevin. Thanks for showing your photos.
  5. Thanks for the additional Information Charley. Since hubby is the mechanically inclined one, I will get him to help me check it out based on your information provided here when he has some time.
  6. Funny, I was just looking at several of those patterns on Steve's site just yesterday. I love the layered ornaments - looks great why the different colors of wood to help highlight the layers. Thanks for sharing your photos.
  7. Beautiful work and project yet again Helmut. Thanks for sharing your photos with us. Thank you too for being so generous and helping out the Kindergarten class with your time, talent and funds raised from your hard work.
  8. Beautiful dog, excellent work on the pattern. A great way to celebrate your love for Holly. Thanks for sharing.
  9. Great reworking of Steve's pattern to make it enclosed so that it is more eye appealing. Thanks for showing your followup work and photos from round 2.
  10. Agree, excellent pattern making and cutting sills to create another work of art of the image you found online. Thanks for sharing.
  11. Thanks for sharing your detailed information Charley. I will have to see if my hubby is willing to look at and service the Dewalt I have. It started making some noises a while back but I clearly don't have the knowledge or expertise myself. He does a lot of mechanical repair work around the house (though that is not what pays the bills) so he might be willing to look into this for me if I can give him such good info.
  12. Great looking ornaments Rolf. Did you leave any unpainted but just wood colored to see how they sell in comparison?
  13. Nice work. Glad they were able to give you choices to work with. Thanks for sharing the photo of your completed project.
  14. That Darn Work - always getting in the way of fun isn't it. Look forward to seeing your completed enclosed version when you get time to get it done.
  15. Looks nice. Thanks for sharing.
  16. Looks like a beautiful piece of art you have created. Excellent work on the cutting. Thanks for sharing your photo.
  17. Hi Gator, while you were gone, I moved in and started hanging out. Glad to see you were able to return. The crosses look beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
  18. Blurry - I figured it was just my eyes. Hubby keeps telling me to go back to the eye doctor! Looks nice. thanks for sharing.
  19. Excellent work Kevin. Thanks for sharing.
  20. Very nice project Helmut. Thanks for sharing.
  21. Amazing amount of work already shown there Kevin - Wow, 3 dozen of each of the 12 days?!? I am in awe of your skills and ability to cut all those in a very short period of time. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to seeing what you do to paint them.
  22. Another beautiful project Dick. Exciting that you know its going all the way to Japan (and that someone in Japan is a Cubbies fan. See the world really is smaller then we all think!) Like you, I like the base Steve added. Good luck to you and your girls on the craft fair. Lucky you, do the cutting and making and leave the hard work, setup/breakdown and selling to the girls! Enjoy your vacation time! Thanks for sharing.
  23. Whew - thanks for clarifying that - that is what I thought but then I thought maybe I was confused! Not too hard to do probably! I saw that on Steve's site as well, really like the idea and the pattern but didn't like the open light in the backside. If anyone does something different to "enclose" it would love to see it. Thanks for sharing your photos and insight into making them.
  24. Beautiful job on the clowns Gonzo. You did a great job with the cutting. I recall seeing that pattern in the magazine and thinking it was a great pattern. Hopefully the other "clowns" will give it up and leave the clowning to those like you and Lawson - doing it for the fun and entertainment rather than trying to scare others. Thanks for sharing your photo. Like Dan - would love to see your Clown persona if you wish to show us here.
