  1. Excellent looking project. I love the magnolia blossoms and yours look great. Thanks for sharing your photo and information.
  2. Agree with everyone. Looks great and sure the client will love it. Thanks for sharing.
  3. Nice work. Thanks for sharing.
  4. I am sure your wife loved you doing something special for her. Looks great. Thanks for sharing.
  5. Looks great thanks for sharing. Nothing better to do on a rainy day!
  6. Beautiful work both ways. Your wife does an excellent job with the painting. You make a great team as already stated. Glad she fines an outlet that helps calm her. My mother in law is almost 88. She enjoys the new coloring book craze. She has bad hand shaking for several years but it seems to calm her's and she can color without the shaking. Quite interesting human brains. Thanks for sharing.
  7. I like it, very cute idea with the tea lights. You and your wife make a great team. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Thanks for sharing photos. I love the tiger but really love the scrolled mill image. I need to go check out our county fair and see what might be there. I think it is usually in Sept.
  9. Beautiful work on both pieces. I am a great admirer of Steve Good's site although I have not really cut much from there yet (only two an ornament stand I simplified and a phone stand) since my focus is presently on intarsia work. However, I have a big list of his files to try sometime down the road. You have done great with it. I pray for the recipient of the new plaque. Thanks for showing both.
  10. Welcome to the forum. Like you, I am a relative newbie to the saw and the forum. Sorry yours came damaged but glad it was a simple knob easily replaced. I have that saw but mine came with the stand. I have mine on it and have no issues or problems with it.
  11. Beautiful work - on both the paper cutting and the scroll saw cutting. Thanks for sharing. As a paper cutter with a die cut machine previously (and still) I always thought there was a lot of overlap on paper patterns and scroll saw patterns and their ability to "cross over" to the other medium.
  12. Great cutting and beautiful project. thanks for sharing your photo.
  13. Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing photo.
  14. Looks great. Glad you could stack cut. Thanks for sharing. I am sure they will be well received.
  15. Look nice Kevin and you are learning! See she told you she would pay THEN, then she said oh no - tomorrow and you stuck to your guns and said no $$ no product. She then came through with the funds. Tell her that's the new rule and you are sticking to it. You have a whole army here at the Village "backing" you up. Glad you have been getting work and getting paid for it.
  16. Thanks for trying to share it again Theresa. I tried again this morning after you did on my computer but still have the same issue. Technology sometimes just doesn't want to cooperate!
  17. That looks great. My mother was a wonder sewer and would have loved that basket. Thanks for sharing your photo.
  18. Ditto. Suppose to go down maybe to mid to lower 80's first of next week. So looking forward to that! Glad I was born after Air Conditioning for sure! I too love the Picture of Jay's shop in the Winter BUT I like the concept of snow and seeing it in pretty pictures but a day or two of it and I am good to move on.
  19. Thank you Terry. Everyone here is very nice helping newbies like me out. It is much appreciated.
  20. Thanks for asking and thanks to those who are replying and giving insight. I have been wondering about the same thing since I am sharing husband's workshop space and don't want to "take over" HIS space which is already pretty full and not much room for "growth" of my intarsia and the additional toys errr tools I would like to add. I have a workroom in the house but we also have an area in the basement that I was thinking would make a great area. Now, just to clean it up and convince the hubby.
  21. Looks great to me. As noted, i don't see any mistakes. Thanks for sharing your photo and insight. As a newbie, I like hearing and seeing other's work and learning about blades and such. Thanks to everyone who gave "food for thought" - "tips and tricks."
  22. Beautiful work on both pieces Terry. Thanks for sharing your photos. As a newbie to intarsia work I like seeing how others do the projects so I can learn more.
  23. I really like your angels Tony. I may look for that pattern and cut a few for Christmas gifts for family. Thanks for sharing your photos and your experience with breaking at the halo. Great modification to I,prove on that.
  24. I am on my iPad so I thought that might be why I was having problem getting the photo to open to see. At least on the pad, I could still sort of zoom in but hard to still see the project since its so small. I will try again tomorrow from my computer. From what I can see, it looks good Theresa. Just remember, we learn from each piece that we do. You are doing great only 4 pieces in. Don't be too hard on yourself.
