  1. Wow Ray. He's talking about 22" saw. If it does not have the front tension release I would agree. However if it does ave it the newer blade clamp is only $35 plus shipping. Depending on condition it could easily be worth lots more. It all depends on what the buyer considers a good value. My Hawk 220vs Ultra is a fabulous saw but I've got to say it does not compete with my Hegners.
  2. This has been interesting because I always assumed with all the gates closed the motor would overwork and possible burn out. I have to quit assuming.
  3. I have no idea as the seller and buyer have to decide that. However if all it needs is a bellows that would not stop me from buying as bellows are not very expensive. Check out Hegners web site for bellows prices.
  4. Thank you Innar. I think I can make that. It is cute.
  5. A portrait by Mahendra. 3/16" underlayment. 50/50 BLO. 2/0 Pegas mg blade.
  6. Those are beautiful!
  7. Those are beautiful! Exactly what size are they?
  8. What a great grandpa you are! Little Amos, even at two, will remember those forever.
  9. Yes, little 4X4" square samples for wood floors.
  10. I have scrolled a. few of them. They seemed to cut ok.
  11. Hi Larry, Your dust collection is interesting and your saw is the same as mine. My question is about the loc-line connectors. You have a connector on the hose from the bellows as well as one on the upper vacuum. Did you make the connectors or are they something available from Loc-line? I don't recall off hand the correct spelling for Loc-line.
  12. Welcome Barry to the greatest Village ever. Lots of friendly folks here. Glad to see another Hegner owner here. I have a 14vs and an 18vs. Sep right in and enjoy.
  13. Wonderful pattern and you have done it justice!
  14. Really cool Kevin. Is that your pattern?
  15. Thankfully we have so many contributing pattern makers here in the Village. The Big Cat is cut from 3/16" underlayment with a #2/0 Pegas mg blade. No finish but will probably be 50/50 BLO.
  16. You have done that very well. I'm sure it will be appreciated.
  17. Great pattern. I just downloaded it. Gonna be on 1" for sure!
  18. Hi Brenda. Underlayment is a cheap, thin plywood placed on a bare floor upon which the final and finishing floor material is placed down. It may be referred as something else in the UK. It is not considered good for scrolling because the veneer on the outside is so thin. However many scrollers use it because it is fairly inexpensive and usually has a nice finish. It does not like most reverse blades because it lifts the veneer from the front of the work. I use it fairly well with a #2/0 Pegas mg blade. Also works best on patterns without extremely fine detail. May work even better for others.
  19. You are the man!! Doing that beautiful work with a spiral blade. You done GOOD.
  20. Beautiful work! Good luck on the sale.
  21. You are correct. I'm now cutting 1/8 and 3/16 underlayment with 2/0 Pegas mg blades with no tear out. When I first started scrolling the Pegas blades were frightening. Now they are my go to blade.
  22. Awesome idea. I did order the Hegner dust collector last night. I do have an air brush compressor. Wish I had thought of using it. Not exactly an air brush compressor but a small quiet compressor from one of my father's dental chairs.
  23. WOW, nice job you've done. I like the painting you did. It leaves a very interesting impression.
  24. Great cutting Gator. Don't know who the little lady is but sure do like the turtle.
  25. Now that is exotic!
