  1. I understand the feeling!!!
  2. Beautiful. You grasped Inkscape very quickly. You did a beautiful job of cutting also!
  3. Stunning work Jerry. 29 hours seems to me very short for what you have accomplished.
  4. Hi Ray. You asked what I paid for red copies. Here goes. I had 5 patterns. Each needed to be enlarged at a different percentage. I ordered 4 of each pattern for a total of 20 patterns I paid $11.25 including tax. That's only $0 56.25 each. These enlargements were 125, 150, 160, 165, 176 percent. Lots of fooling around for less than 57 cents each. I always order multiple copies. I sometimes mess up a project and start over. The extras I put in a binder for safe keeping.
  5. My riving knife and blade guard are in a land-fill somewhere. Removing them were the first thing I did with my saw. I am not recommending this but for myself it is OK.
  6. My wife is the same. That's why there are never any metal chips around my lathe or mill. She keeps it all cleaned up. Whoever heard of a metal lathe without chips around? In my shop in the garage she sweeps and makes sure I wipe my feet off on a rug before entering the house. I grew up in a house where shoes were not allowed. People in our house take off their shoes. There are slippers under a bench at the entrance. I, however, draw the line. I wear my shoes. My wife being a sweetheart allows me.
  7. I enjoy your fishing cuttings. In my younger days fishing was my total passion!

  9. Cute little fella. Great cutting. Nice!
  10. Many thanks for the great suggestions!
  11. All four of the military clocks look great! I also like the wrench clock. I think I have that pattern.
  12. Good morning Katie. This is a crude little kangaroo I made from instructions from "Instructibles." These little critters can be seen on You Tube searching for walking toy animals or something like it. They are fun little buggers and little kids would love them. They walk down an inclined plane.
  13. I see walking toy animals. They are cute. I did download a pattern from You Tube and made it. However, does anyone know where I can find other patterns?
  14. You did a beautiful job on that!
  15. Looks like a great little trim router for small things! Very clever.
  16. Any motor shop should have them.
  17. 1/4" underlay. Pattern plagiarized from Smithsonian web site. Just waiting for the feds to knock on my door.
  18. Car is 1" pine. Outside cut with #7 Olsen skip tooth blade. Inside cuts #3 Pegas MG. Base is Poplar from old dresser drawer. Finish is Minwax stain covered with two coats gloss spray poly.
  19. Very cool looking! I like it.
  20. Clever design and great cutting.
  21. Your cuttings are terrific but it is more important that you take care of yourself. GET WELL!
