  4. That is very, very nice!
  5. Welcome to the Village Stephen. Glad to have you here. Lots of nice folks to meet here and lots if good information to be gleaned.
  6. This is a Russ Beard pattern which has been cut many, many times. I see it often and is very popular. Russ is one of my favorite Designers. I would rather hang a calendar from the local grain elevator or feed and seed store in my home than Picasa. My wife does not agree but it works for a country bumpkin like me. I love cutting rural things. The pattern is cut on 1/8" laminated BB. I drilled 1108 holes and saw run time was 11.5 hours. That's only the time the saw was actually running. Then there is drill time and time for changing from hole to hole. The image is fairly small. About 10.5 x 7.5 inches if memory serves me right. I used #2/0 Super Pike blades. Enjoyed cutting every hole.
  7. I really like it and the framing is excellent!
  8. Looks like a really fun job. You did well.
  9. Love the Garfield clock! Is that a kit kat movement?

  13. That is beautiful. You've done a great job on a very interesting subject!
  14. Excellent cutting! Whose pattern?
  15. Great blizzard! So far there is about 12" outside, unbelievable. However, it is nice and toasty in my shop. Have not had this much snow in a long time but March is our snowiest month. I can't shovel but wife does. But this is an unusual amount of snow. Gave the snow blower to our son in law because they have this big three car driveway. My grandson is coming over tomorrow to dig us out. First photo is out my shop window, the other is out the back yard.
  16. This is the 10 year old daughter of a friend of mine. She just came home from a chemo treatment. Gampa (Paul) was so kind to make the pattern for this portrait.
  17. To have a wife like yours and a HEGNER too, well there is no way to beat that combination! Congratulations.
  18. Bravo, bravo, bravo on the new saw and your first completed project. You've done a beautiful job.
  19. Very nice pattern and cutting. Glad you chose a Harley. I'm not so cool on crotch rockets.
  20. Dynamite Dick. Beautiful piece of work!
  21. Therefor you have a fantastic saw that will serve you for a lifetime.
  22. I have a clock on both my Hegners. Just cheap $12 alarm clocks from Amazon tied into a three way plug. Why a clock? I find I'm always curious how long I cut on a project, mostly fret work especially with lots of holes. I'm cutting a piece with perhaps over 1000 holes many of which are not much bigger than the blade. I don't sell anything so it is just for my own curiosity. If I were selling I would certainly want to know the time spent on projects. The clock runs when the saw does. Of course all the time spent drilling and switching blades from hole to hole has to be estimated. Overall I just find it fun.
  23. I stand on my head and scroll but I can't do it for very long. :>)
  24. Your work is stunning!
