  1. My cuttings are too bad to give away and too good to throw away. I've been practicing with different blades. Have not yet found my go to blade. So far things are just stacking up on a shelf. Too bad about Frank's box. Looked like it would be a beauty.
  2. Looking really good. I'm waiting for the finish.
  3. Welcome. You for sure are an artist. Beautiful pieces.
  4. Welcome back. Being relatively new I have not met you yet but I'm sure I will.
  5. Me too.
  6. Very nice and great cutting.
  7. Very cool puzzle.
  8. Great scrolling on beautiful lettering.
  9. Really cool cutting.
  10. Looks terrific!
  11. WOW! I had to put on sun glasses. Love the bright colors.
  12. Don't know If I'll do it. But I'm thinking about it.
  13. Not only is it beautiful but it is true too!
  14. That is a very nice project! Thanks for posting it.
  15. Dynamic. That is so cool.
  16. This may not make much sense but I much prefer working from a chair rather than a stool. Today my friend added a gate to my dust collector. He offered to take the legs off my Hawk and make a custom stand fir the Hawk that would allow me to use a chair. I know Bushton sells a leg set to allow sitting but it looks awkward and not really attractive to me. Someone posted a picture of a three legged custom stand but do not recall who that was. It looked perfect. So I'm wondering if anyone has done that to a Hawk. I'd save the legs in case I or my estate sold the saw. Just thinkin' ahead.
  17. Shucks, that's nothing. My wife not only knows everything but she is never wrong either!
  18. This my dust collection. Well it's a START!
  19. If one does not use the dead man type one might just as well use the on/off switch in the saw.
  20. Great shop. I love looking at all shops but the small ones hold my interest because my shop is only 8X14, 112 sq ft. You have really done a lot with a small space. A friend purchased a ShopSmith years ago and earned enough to buy his first home. Your rip fence is very interesting. Good job!
  21. I sit on a stool but would rather sit in a chair. Unfortunately the Hawk comes with it's own stand. They have a stand that is wheelchair compatible which might work but I'n not about to spend the money for it. I suppose the legs could be removed and remounted on a low stand but I'll live with the stool.
  22. Great cutting.
  23. You nailed it. Excellent portrait.
  24. Just spoke with Adreann at Bushton, KS. They are shipping my controller and motor for my 220VS Hawk Ultra tomorrow. Total cost $253.40 including shipping and an extra bottom clamp. It should be operational this weekend. The controller is new and a bearing was replaced in the motor. I had wondered why they had to order a bearing. I checked the population of Bushton. Only 279 people. No wonder there was no bearing supplier. Happy with the price and service. With $453.40 invested I'll have a great saw. Also found out my motor was not the feared Fasco motor.
  25. My tumbler was not a vibrator. It was a "Thumbler" with ceramic and stainless media. Sold it because I was out of bench space. Kinda miss it.
