    I don't cut a lot but did this for my Sweetie. I used a #5 FD Polar. The wood is a cedar fence board. I really like the way it cut. It has no finish as it has been too cold to mess with it. I usually save that sort of thing for outside in warm weather outside. It is a Steve Good pattern.

    I really love that pattern. A pattern with a message. I get Printrest but can't figure how it works. I can't down load anything.

    Thank you. I just googled it and see Rockler has a hand device to drive them in. Does not strike me as very good. Another on Amazon was $169. Guess I won't be making frames any time soon.

    Don't know if that will work, I'm not a mechanic, but the cutting is interesting.

    I took your first advice and ordered the 21/32 drill bit from Amazon. $16 shipping free. My scrolling time is limited so the drill is faster.

    I drilled a 5/6 test hole and it was no go.

    I'll be making a proper holder. The PVC works well. I just likethe looks of the clear tubes.

    Thanks. Are those sizes commonly found in the local hardware store? Perhaps Woodcraft. I usually order on line. Woodcraft is about 40 minutes in traffic. Ebay and Amazon are as close as my office chair. Those are cheaper.

    You young whippersnappers probably won't get this but all the seniors will. I ordered plastic test tubes to be used as blade holders. I liked the idea of caps. I have never knocked my blade holder but it can happen. I had a block with holes from another project but put in the tubes to see how badly it would work. The tubes are .640 diameter. The 5/8 bit is .625 just a bit to small. I will purchase a 17mm Forstner bit. There is no point to this post only to try and increase traffic on the site. Everyone wants pictures.

    Thanks for the reminder. I have piece of 1/4" glass I used for a surface plate which I no longer use. Has been sitting around for several years. Gonna get it out and use it.
