  1. All three of my Hawks ere owned by elderly gentlemen.
  2. No I don't but that does like a good deal. Wonder why there are so many hawks going on sale?
  3. Makes me wonder what the average age of the membership is.
  4. I have Nitrile gloves. A pita.
  5. This not an important question but... whenever I spray a pattern, invariably I get adhesive on mt finger tips. Pretty impossible to not to get some on the fingertips when lifting the pattern and when positioning it on the tape or shelf liner. I clean my fingers with acetone on a paper towel. What do others use?
  6. Very clever but more than I'd want to do.
  7. Very nice cutting and a great pattern. Nice wood selection and finish.
  8. Very nice cutting. I like it.
  9. He was my favorite cousin. Unfortunately he passed away a few years ago. He was six years older than me. As a kid he taught me to ride horses. I loved him.
  10. Nice clock. The thing about that clock is it should have wide appeal to many people and should be an easy sell if not to her liking. Thing that are highly personalized are not so. Only the person that refuses it could possibly use it. I had a client many years ago, Jeppesen Sanderson, who published the flight manual found in every commercial airline in the world. I provided all the index tabs for the nine ring binders. I provided hundreds of thousands of them. Always needed extra crews, overtime, etc. The woman buyer was a B..... I had this account for four years and finally tired if her and the account. At the end of the contract for the year I jacked up the contract 50%. It was no longer worth the hassle. She moved to an out of town supplier. I lost a fairly large account but made up for it not having the hassle. You should do likewise.
  11. On other sites I am on I can put my signature in my posts automatically. I have gone to my profile but could not find a place to do this. Can someone help me?
  12. Guess I should have asked first.
  13. The adhesive sheets I have are from Office Depot. They are probably made by Avery. Les

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

  15. Brad, I'm off topic here too. My cousin hauled cattle over the road from when he was a young man into his mid 70's. Hard life but he would not change careers for anything.
  16. Thanks for the reminder, full sheet adhesive sheets. I have that stuf but never thought of using it for patterns. If one does a lot of cutting it is pricey. But for what I do it would be fine. Rockytime, aka Les
  17. I also have tremors in my left hand. Not good since I am left handed. I don't scroll at the slowest speed but have speed cranked up a bit but feed slowly. I'm more careful and at my age I should scroll faster cause I don't have much time left. I should speed things up.
  18. FD #5 Polar are my go to blade also.
  19. That's why this village is like a family. God is still on the throne and you are still on my prayer list.
  20. I'm guilty of not signing my name. I just forget to and I will try to correct that. However, I am always wondering just how some of you got your nickname. Rockytime came about as a result of my repairing clocks for over 40 years in the Rocky Mountain area (Denver) Rocky Mountain Time.
  21. This does not answer your question but I have not heard about varnish for many years. But, as a kid I remember my mother varnishing things. I think that's the last time I heard about varnish.
  22. My shop clock goes well over a year.
  23. I misspoke earlier I did not switch to 3M 77 but rather to 3M 45. In my art department everyone used 3M 77. My mind wandered back to then even though it was almost 20 years since then.
  24. That's what I switched to. 3M 77
  25. I did a little scrolling today. I had a can of Elmers adhesive which I used to adhere the pattern. Disaster. The pattern started lifting. I had sprayed the pattern some time ago in a cold garage. I thought it might be the problem. The pattern lifted easily and I resprayed it making sure I used enough adhesive. It lifted again. I had waited a few moments to make sure it was sticky. Then I realized it was a rattle can. I never rattled it and perhaps that was my mistake. I tossed it and used the 3M adhesive. Problems over.
