Beautiful! Can't wait to see the complete project.
  2. Oops! I misspoke. The adhesive I mentioned as 44 was wrong, I should have had said 45. There was 45 on the shelf and I thought it was the wrong stuff. Holy smokes the 3M adhesives range from 14.95 to 23.95 for 77 and 45. If the Elmer's does not work I'll live with the 45. It's not the money but it is the money. Hope that makes sense.
  3. I just stopped at my local Ace Hdw. and looked for 3M 44 adhesive. There was none but lots of 77 which I have and is messy. Good lord some of the stuff is pricey. I can afford it but won't spend unnecessary funds. I did buy a can of Elmer's all purpose adhesive for $5.99. Has anyone used the stuff? I can go to HD but Ace is right around the corner from me. I also purchased 12" X 10' shelf paper. Did not look at the price but will try it. It is re positional so I hope it adheres ok.
  4. I love your 3D cutting especially the Jesus one.
  5. Very nice cutting. I like the Kitten cutting.
  6. Always nice to have a change of pace. Great cutting as always.
  7. As a young kid I asked if there were any famous relatives. He said, "I think there was a horse thief." Never asked him again.
  8. Great cutting. I was disappointed that Carson Wentz could not play.
  9. Looks wonderful. I like the finish.
  10. That is a great box. Wish I had that talent.
  11. Those are great. Do you use patterns or do you just free style? Pretty impressive!
  12. Kevin, I always love your scrolling but am more concerned about your physical well being. Be easy on yourself.
  13. Looks great. It's very thoughtful of you!
  14. I don't know Ray, It is too cold to sit outside and work on it.My wife's car WILL NOT sit outside! I'm awaiting warmer weather. Meanwhile my old 16" is working nice.
  15. The old man that had it was losing his eyesight. However, There is virtually nothing that cannot be repaired easily. There is nothing complicated about the saw.
  16. John, it is nearly new. The problem is the motor controller. When we get some real warm weather I will remove it and check it. I only have room to work in the driveway. If it is just the pot I can replace it. If not I'll just order a controller. First I'll blow it out then check it with an ohm meter. I don't think it has a pc board but I'll find out I guess. The one thing I"m skeptical about is the bottom clamp. My homemade round clamps work so flawless. I hope the new style works as well.
  17. Well here it is. In addition to the saw it came with a ton of other things. I'm guessing more than 100 toy wheels, 11 toy cars, some partially cut kit like a cart or something. There are no instructions or patterns for it. Don't know what I willdo with it yet. Were there a scrolling group here I would donate it. I also gave my 14" Hawk to a friend. I might give the16" away. Still thinking about it. Saw is pristine except an accidental white spray on a front leg. Someone got too close. Only disappointment is no articulated air nozzle which I will order. I'll have to wait for warm weather before I tackle it.
  18. Here's my $200 Hawk. It came with some goodies. A box full of wooden toys, bag of wheels and misc. things I have not yet rooted out. Unveiling comes tomorrow.
  19. Very, very nice. I could not imagine doing several.
  20. What a beautiful pattern! Excellent cutting.
  21. Have you tried a Dremel on the tight spots?
  22. Antler = nasty effluvia
  23. At $3 sq ft one can buy it. Not that expensive. Free is better tho. Nice cutting and patterns.
  24. Your workbench looks just like mine.
  25. I'm hoping that it is just the pot. Then I'm in like Flynn. Thanks guys for all the advise and encouragement.
