  4. I love fretwork but I don't think I have the patience or endurance to attempt that project. I have to say it appears to be worth the effort as it is gorgeous. Very nice!
  5. You've been busy. Great looking name plaques.

Beautiful cutting! And with spirals too. Kudos to you.
  9. That is one impressive box!
  10. Don from Brooklyn in Ontario provided me with this pattern. What I love about his patterns is the thin red outline with a light green fill. Makes cutting a real pleasure. The plaque is 14" X 5" X 1/2" oak. #1 PMG with 50/50 BLO. I nearly screwed up the edges on the router. My router is just a 1/4" trim router on a very makeshift table. The vertical adjustment is very crude and it was set too deep causing the router to bog down. I should have made a couple of shallow cuts then a finish cut. Worked out eventually. Still needs a backer and a couple of coats of poly semi gloss to finish.
  11. Very cool!

  16. Double your pleasure, double your fun! Looks really good.
  17. It would be nice to know another scroller to share a hobby with. Overall, there does not seem to be many scrollers as opposed to other hobbies. While I was a model railroader for more than 40 years I met literally hundreds of fellow modelers.
  18. Great video. Thanks.
  19. Nice cutting on a great pattern! Looks good.
  20. What is tush cedar? I'm not familiar with it.
  21. Good looking clamping system you use.
  22. I've got adhesives by the number Adhesives by the score Every time I turn around I swear I find some more! Actually this is a two part question, adhesives and frame clamps. I make most of my frames from cedar fence stakes. They are very rough, often cupped, uneven thickness, etc. I like the looks of the frames because they are rustic. In spite of of problems with the materials I try to make the frames as accurately as possible. I have old Craftsman corner clamps, Pony strap clamps as well as H/F strap clamps. Of the three I like the H/F straps the best. My dilemma is the adhesive. It take a fair bit of time to get the straps positioned accurately. The adhesive needs to remain open until the straps or clamps can be tightened. There has been discussion on clamps previously but not on adhesives that I know of. Need some advice on adhesives. Currently I glue the best I can then pop some staples in the corners from the back. I also have thin, medium and gap filling ca, tube of Loctite cement, JB Weld and more. What to use?
  23. Great looking Vets!
