    Yes plywood. 3/4 bc sanded 36 bucks a sheet. If I were to do again I might spring for better stuff.not sure tho.

    I agree probably cuz local pick up. I'm about 2 and half hours. If I we're interested could ask seller to meet half way.

    Well plain as day to me would be example: I did not make this plaque in the photo.or this is not my work . Anyway I'm not implying that you are trying to take credit for this work in the phot. I'm just saying it was not plain as day and in my opinion easy for me and others to be mistaken.

Please don't take my response the wrong way I mean no Ill will here. But I couldn't leave it go with you thinking I just glanced at it and half hearted typed hey great job.     Very nice. Nice for me to see these things. My father was a Vietnam vet. 82nd airborn. Saw way too much combat than anyone should see.it was hard to get stories out of him but as a child I remember prying some stories out of him. Now I understand more and probably shouldn't have. Sadly he shot himself in 2004. Beautiful job.

    I'm pretty sure what he means. Is even if it's online only item. You still go in the store and have them order it for you off their computer. A little bit of inconvenience. Defeats the whole purpose to sit home and shop. But 10 percent on a high price item seems worth it. Kudos to home depot for supporting our vets.

    No I didn't see ex 30 add but I have my sight set on a ex 16 maybe the 21. I do think 280 290 whatever for the delta is well worth it. At least if you don't like it you didn't spend 500 or so like the dewalt. And from what I hear it's the same saw. If I get up in that five hundred range I'm just going to go for excalibur. I'm using a porter cable I got for 180 bucks and I couldn't be happier with it. But when the time comes I will upgrade.

    All the suggestions here are good and will work. The simplest suggestion I can come up with would be edge band two of the panels so the ply doesn't show and pocket screw together. 45 ing the whole thing together is also good but not easy to get a perfect fit if I were going that rout I would do that before the scrolling this way u don't screw up a finished piece.     Cuz dewalt thinks there fancy yellow paint is worth more. As you can guess I am not a fan of dewalt. They sell a good tool but way overprice for the level of quality . in other words terrible value. I never owned there scroll saw my opinion is based on being in construction for 25 years. Just my two cents.

    I wouldn't suggest any books. You tube and Steve good sight are free and better than any book. ( now I'm talking about a how to scroll book. They're are many good intarsia and specific pattern books out there but not a how to use ur scroll saw) not that the books are bad but in my opinion you can't learn how to use a saw from a book. You just have to do it.
