Last week on Thursday I felt like making a bracelet as I don't wear a watch anymore with the fact that I carry a work and personal smartphone . These are a mix of domestic and exotic. Ha very similar, only difference is the grain and the depth of the wood that I can see. Mine was cut from 3/4 inch ash if i recall. Looks great!

Exquisite, how do you keep your bench so uncluttered?

biggest tips I can give you are this. Guide the piece of wood into/around the blade just think of it like holding and guiding a steering wheel of a vehicle, don't push it, let the saw work. When doing a piece with inside cuts, drill the holes then flip the board over and take a counter sink bit and slightly drill each hole to form a depression in the wood. Saves hours and your back, the blade is easy to thread then. Practice techniques of making sharp corners, they help immensely and I use different techniques in different scenarios. Do 98% of your sanding prior to ever touching the piece of wood with your saw or drill (press) Lastly when you get frustrated and you will when you challenge your scrolling skills, step away and go do something else for an hour, day or more. Then you will come back fresh. Have fun, wood is awesome you can do anything with it

Ya I use engineered flooring samples allot for backings. I out a while pile of them awhile back when a company was going tits up

Made the cougar cause I love big cats. The horses I made as a cousin of mine was one of the two princesses along with the queen that represented the calgary stampeded in 2016, they travelled the world and I thought this was symbolic of her year. The horses are cut and framed with mahogany.

Kevin I had a request for a monogram so large that I could not print it off, I ended up hand writing it and then tracing the pencil lines once safistfied with a sharpie....sounds to me that may be the way should go. Take a smaller sample and then tape pieces of paper together and start to draw the font

Thanks Marg, I am safe from the fires, they are north of where I am which is a suburb of vancouver really. As jack johnson says in one of his songs. Reduce, reuse, recycle....
