  14. Cut the length down a bit, thinned out out some and applied the buckle with CA glue, purple insra cure. Send to be holding well. Will see how it does after a week. Cut some other buckles waiting for curing sucks....
  15. Depends really, I use 95% reclaimed materials as a result I use what I have. Old flooring, samples of flooring, old cabinets, dressers, if the wood is light art canvas....
  16. likewise, I get loads of ideas from Tattoos
  17. ya I was thinking of doing that bevelling but you know when I wore the original yesterday I did not feel that was needed if I shortened the buckle by a quarter inch or so...Will see

  19. I just got notification in the mail yesterday that my 30" excelsior has been shipped from King's headquarters in Montreal on Sept 14th so the local regional sales rep should be bringing it to me anytime... I struck a deal to review the saw in a blog in exchange for a deep discount. My goal this weekend is to carve out some space in my garage for it...
  20. Lots of mounting and framing to do.
  21. welcome, enjoy the forum, its GREAT
  22. Here is another one that I have just done, bullet wood, merbau, acacia, Japanese cherry, oak and Honduran mahogany crossing all of them
  23. Ya slightly rounded edges. It actually feels good wearing it. I think I will make the next one a bit thinner and like a quarter inch shorter. Much lighter than the buckle I had with this belt originally. That was a stainless steel Nixon buckle.
