  9. i am sorry. i had posted pics before but should have included one here. this is the one peeling up. the tiny piece between hulks hand and the gun. here is the back i scroll portraits mostly. i am also using, posters (Beatles) , photos of friends , comic book covers (hulk) and album covers and i use them as a pattern. each part of the pic is cut out in a way that lets me glue the parts back together in the layers this was in real life. counting the background this one is cut into 9 pieces and in 8 layers. before glued back together in 7 layers that help?

  11. hey ray!!! until i started selling my scrolling on facebook i never even used my real name there. oldtimers "Big Brother Syndrome". but life taught me that the government is not "Big Brother" but the corporations we freely share our info with. so i will follow suit here and say..... HI!!! i am chris... pleased to meet you.... i also answer to "Lumpy" ,"hey you", and "ick "... that is what all the girls called me in high school.... i walked into the room and they all called out ICK!!!!
  12. i have 3 very old 1gal cans. used some about 3 months ago to seal a table that is about as old. i was very surprised it still worked. my neighbor has a can shaker i put the can in for about 30 min before i used it.
  13. did you glue pictures to the face of the puzzles? i think i have the glaze... will have to look and just ordered the spray glue.
  14. side thread to "Elmers Spray Adhesive By Rockytime" i am doing experiments today for my 3Ds. had a 3M 77 applies cover start to peal up. that is with 5 coats of clear spray matte over it. i am trying 7 different combos of mod-podge 3M 77 and clear coats. i do not have any experience with Varnish. can anyone tell me if it turns white or chips at the edge of a cut? is there any "Hard drying" treatment you would advise? thanks
  15. i have been using 3M77 also. have not had many problems holding down patterns but will try the 3M 45.
  16. Don't hold back man..... just tell us how you really feel!!!
  17. Thanks DG i am still learning how to make frames. most portrait orders i have had have been for 8x10s but i have loved the challenge of making frames . i may even understand how to be consistent one day.
  18. ok... being raised in the U.S. i have always used the "Imperial" standard of measurement until i started scrolling. still when using store bought frames i stick to that standard but have found 180mm is easier to read than 7 3/32 because i have have trouble with getting confused with the different size lines. (although Dyslexia may have a little to do with it ) i assume i am one of few in the U.S. but would love to know.
